I'm just not sure where to buy it from or what kind to use to seal my doll that I plan on getting.

Would it be better to use MSC UV or Flat?

I'm new to this whole doll thing xp

I have A LOT that I'm planning on selling once I revamp my shop site.... sweatdrop Which will be.... soon..... sweatdrop sweatdrop

In any case, MSC is debatable. Personally, I would use it. It's main function is to seal the paint on the resin so that the resin won't wear off too easily. That doesn't mean it won't, but just not as easily as it would be compare to no MSC.

You would definitely want the word FLAT on the can. It will dull the complexion (if... you can call it that.... heh...) of the doll slightly, but unless you want your doll to look like they just did a oil spa massage ALL THE TIME, shining enough you can use them as lamps. xd The UV-Cut is simply mean that the coating is specially treated to protect the doll from yellowing because of the ultra-violet (UV) light from the sun. I'm still not sure if the UV-cut will prevent the doll from yellowing completely, but it should be able to drag the life of a doll before you have to sand them down completely longer.

The ones I'm selling are MSC UV-Cut Flat, the most recommended one. Shoot me a PM if you want one. 3nodding

(Astro, I hope I'm not "advertising".... If I violate any laws, please forgive me. crying )

Oh wow!
Thank you for you great Information...again xp

I don't think my mum would let me buy stuff off the internet from a site she doesn't know about (not being rude or anything but she just watches WAY too many current affairs programs xp )

But thank you anyway!
You've been a massive help!

I understand. 3nodding You can always try eBay, if that'll help. ^_^ Make sure to find a seller that's within U.S. since aerosole (sp?) containers are a hassle to ship, and probably won't past custom if they're from international site. Pay only for ground shipping. ^^

Actually I can buy MSC Flat at a store here. @.@

There is a hobby shop that sells model planes, ships, tank, and trains. And they have MSC and Testors paint. Maybe you should look for a hobby shop with models if you don't want to buy from the internet.

At Junkyspot.com you can get a MSC UV-CUT for around 13$USD I think without shipping. They only ship to the USA.

HOWEVER, I always buy my MSC UV-CUT at Hobbylinkjapan ( hlj.com ) They sell their cans for 8$USD and shipping is 6$ more or less. I have gotten 3 cans from them. They are well packed and sealed and they usually arrive at your door steps within a week or two.

Depends where you are in the world. I get mine from Hiroboy.com at a reasonable price. They're great if you live in Europe. Not so so great if you live overseas, cause the cans aren't allowed on planes.
