Kay had watched with silent awe. Now, she burst into excitement. "That was amazing!" she shouted. "Great fight!!" She started to jump up and down in her seat with anticipation. She just couldn't wait for her turn to fight!!! All this fighting got her pumped up and ready to go!

____________

Lyall, hearing an interesting fight, had lifted up his mask for a small amount of time to watch the rather short fight, followed by another short fight. To put it frankly, he was impressed. There was going to be some interesting competition today, that's for sure. He most certainly couldn't wait for his turn. and, as if by some coincidence, Lyall, or rather Leo for the contest, was called to be in the next fight. Standing, he replaced the mask over his face and made his way down to the arena, standing in the middle of it, waiting for his opponent to come down and fight him.

_______________

Keahi, with some quick precise maneuvering, now had Shuen pinned to the ground, twisting and holding her arm against her back effectively. He smirked down at her, seeing her struggle, then stood, letting her go only after taking her weapon away from her. "Shuen, right? You will be my opponent for the upcoming match. If you know what is good for you, I suggest you throw the match. I have something to settle with one of the other contenders here, and I suggest you do not get in my way," he warned, turning and walking off, tucking a hair behind his ear, tossing her weapon over his shoulder and to her, even if it was a bit dangerous to do that.

Harumo bend the ice on the alley wall and two pillars shot out at the side, pinning the boys who were in front and behind against the wall. Yuto sent sharp icicles at her, but she raised a wall of ice to block them and sent her own icicles toward the boys. All but Yuto got pinned to wall or ground; he ran down the alley toward her. Harumo turned and trapped the other boys in ice, and raised another wall of ice. Yuto leapt over the first wall.
"Just between you and me, Harumo," he said, smirking.
"That's the way I like it," she replied, as a grin crept across her face.
Yuto conjured two ice daggers in his hands. A spilt second later Harumo had moved her arms, staring at Yuto with an intense, malicious glare, still grinning.
The boy found himself holding the daggers to his own throat.
"Wh-what the hell?!" he hollered, fearful.
He dropped the daggers, having control over his limbs again.
"What did you just do, Harumo?!"
"Nothing."
A small block of ice hit him on the back of his head and he fell over, unconcious.
Harumo lowered the walls and continued on her toward the ocean, smiling at the water benders, who were either glaring at her or looking the other way, afraid. She expected Yuto to have imagine her blood bending, but it was okay if he actually believed she did. Who was going to believe him?

Shuen glanced at the man in surprise. "What-"
She glanced over to see a man being carried away in a stretcher; his face covered in burns. An official of the tournament was currently placing a new name on the area where 'the chosen one' used to have his place.
Keahi
Shuen repeated the name aloud and glanced back over her shoulder; rubbing her arm gingerly.
Something told her that she would be working harder than she thought to get that money.

Ka'tang chewed on the blade of grass, considering the contents of the letter he just received. There were now suspected rebellious fire nation activity in the Norhtern Water Tribe, but no one knew what the extent of their activities were. It was difficult to track them. He was now to get there as soon as possible to reach the tribe and infiltrate the rebels.
He looked back at the town, longing to join the tournament.
"What to do..."

The next fight, the one between Kay and Lyall, ended just as shortly as the two prior to it. It had been earthbender against earthbender, but Kay just wasn't as experienced with bending as Lyall was, and thus was no match for him. As Kay was carried off, being unconcious at the time, and Lyall simply returned to the contender's stands. He smiled as he passed by Shuen, waving slightly.

Fai pulled his shirt collar away from his neck, it was now his turn. Getting to his feet, he slowly stripped his jacket as his opponent walked out into the arena. A firebender, great.

Walking out onto the arena, he stretched out his arms as the Firebender glared at him. He looked familiar.... Fai shrugged it off, he probably was one of those troops stationed here. Yeah.

"Begin!" The referee ordered loudly and Fai crossed his arms, waiting for the fire bender's next move. The man charged at him, and attacked him with an all show of kicks and punches, each blazing with fire. Fai dodged each one with ease. Fire licked up his bare arms catching his attention and causing him to stomp the ground, sending both him and the man flying into the air. Fai landed softly on the ground, his opponent did not. He landed hard on the ground, staying there as Fai stood up. Turning around, Fai tensed when the man slowly pulled himself to his feet and pulled out a weapon.

"Hey!" The referee screamed as the man threw it at Fai.

Fai spun around and threw the coldest glare he could muster at the moment at the man. With a scream, he drove his fist into the spiraling weapon. The metal shattered into dust, but the fire that was surrounding it scorched his hand. With a stomp of his foot, his opponent sunk up to his neck in quick sand.

"B-By disqualification, Fai is the winner." The announcer squeaked as he had the referee fetch the medic, "By using a weapon and bending powers, you are disqualified Shin-raye." The announcer glanced down at the paper in his hands to read the name.

Fai released the disqualified man from the quicksand. Clenching his fists, he threw him another glare before turning around and walking towards the building and his couch that he had been sitting on. Fai's eyes widened as the sensation of heat flew at him, he spun around to see a wall of fire flying at him. Throwing up his hands, he paused when he felt a gust of wind blow it away from him. Opening his eyes, he saw the red haired woman standing in front of him.

The firebender paled at the sight of Zian. Quickly bowing he briskly left the arena, he was going to be punished later.

Turning around Zian glanced at Fai's hand and frowned, "That was foolish..." She glanced at the medic and walked back inside. Seeing him dissolve that weapon with a punch, she had to wonder what else he could do. She had never seen a earthbender shatter a Fire Nation weapon like that. She had thought it had been impossible seeing as how they took all the natural impurities from all their metal so it could not be manipulated by Earthbenders. She was at a loss for words.

Shuen sighed as her name was called for the next round. This guy was going to be tough, she wouldn't underestimate his abilities.
She watched Fai pass by as she sat on the bench next to her entrance. Her name was announced and she stood up, dusting her pants off.
"Great." She hissed as she drew her brother's hooked blades. "Help me out here, Jet..."
She stepped into the ring, glancing around as people began to cheer. She cracked her neck a couple of times and gave her blades a test swing before coming to the center of the ring.
The announcer then called Keahi's name, and the man stepped into the arena. As she waited, she had a good time to look at him. Apparently he had lost his eye a long time ago during a nasty fight, as a faint scar could be seen trailing down his cheek. His visible eye was burning with determination.
She made sure to keep a better grip on her blades this time.

Keahi looked her over for a moment, then grinned. "Hey, Ref," he called, approaching the center of the ring. "If I use my weapons this round, will I be able to use my bending the next round?" he asked haughtily, taking out two daggers, more like short swords, and held them backwards than one would hold them regularly.
Without awaiting a response from the referee, Keahi immediately went into combat, quickly catching up to her and managed to knock away one of her blades with one dagger, and used the other for an attack at her chest, tearing through her shirt. Dodging her counter attack, he did a backflip to get some distance from her. He smirked. "Not bad. Not bad at all, but. . ." He made a quick dash at her and knocked her into the ground, holding his dagger against her neck in warning. "Not good enough, I'm afraid."
