I'm really sorry if this topic has already been made. sweatdrop
Anyway, I am a huge Interpol fan and I saw Interpol for the first time a few months ago at the Astoria and I can safely say, even though they aren't my favourite, favourite band, it was the best gig I have ever been to.
I've never looked forward to a concert more and seeing them in the relatively small Astoria was life-changing. Plus, I felt like the biggest fanboy in the world when Paul came out but I was just.. gonk crying

I don't think it has been, so you're safe.
I have seen them twice- the first time at the Across the Narrows Festival at the Staten Island location at a minor league baseball stadium, the second time at Madison Square Garden. The smaller venue makes it rock so much more in terms of interaction with the band (Daniel actually looked right at me and I was so stunned I forgot to smile and he gave me this "wtf" kind of luck- I felt so stupid). But they absolutely rocked MSG, despite me being stuck in the upper mezzanine. Next time though, I'll sell myself to get tickets for the pit.

I FINALLY saw Interpol live at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN on the 22nd of September. It was their first time in TN, and Sam was polite enough to thank the "legendary" crowd for welcoming them so warmly. God, it was so awesome. I bought tickets the day they went on sale to get good seats, and i had an amazing view. Twas tres fantastique.
I agree on being a fan boy, though I was a total fan girl. lol I geeked out. I took a friend who's not as much of a fan and squeeled in her ear the whole night. She was cracking up because every time they played one of my fav songs, I geeked out and started screaming. I sang every word to every song. It was one of the greatest nights of my life. 4laugh
