KanaRenee Your typing skills didn't fail XD I've just studied japanese so I have a bit of an idea of how the language works. The words my be akin to OTHER words, but that doesn't mean they have a translation-- it's like slang, I guess. I can call you ohaeoge, and mean something mean by it, and eventually you'll realize it, and it'll be a slang between us-- that's kind of what dobe is, we just know collectively that Sasuke doesn't feel Naruto deserves an actual WORD for his "moronic-ness" XD I would love to study japanese. *sigh* And actually, what I meant by 'did my typing skills fall?' was, while I was writing all that, I was typing very sloppily. And that's.. not like me. o.o;

MooMooJuice I want to! We were so close to getting a japanese teacher in school this semester... so close! >.< You can learn basics online, you know, Melly D: Very basic, but its better than nothing.

I find it's easier to learn in person. You get pronouncations wrong otherwise.

I learned the basics of writing Hiragana online, though. I think it works for writing. As for speaking, I agree it's better to hear a teacher pronounce words. But if you're the type of person who can absorb pronunciations just by listening to an actual speaker (i.e. subbed anime) then you can probably do it. (I kind of learned pronunciation that way - I don't know if it works for everyone, though.)
I just wanna learn sentence construction. gonk At the very least, I could get to speak in sentences.

@Tenshi: Maybe, but are you drawing your hiragana correctly? There are specific ways you have to draw your hiragana, katakana and kanji-- certain strokes. It sucks. If you do it wrong, they can tell. XD
