Kellen was wandering about the room, pacing back and forth. He was worried about his cousin, but Falcon had been sleeping all day with Dante in his arms, and had taken his medication this morning like he was supposed to. But still - Kellen was worried. He yawns a bit, stretches, and sits down at his computer to check his e-mail - thinking that he's got to do SOMETHING to keep his mind off of Falcon's illness / recovery. It was driving him nuts.

Mignon skipped up cheerily. She remembered that Yuki had told her the doctors were nice. Plus, Jeane had insisted on coming, and that made the woman absoutley miserable.
"Come on, Mommy!" She chirped a bit maliciously. Jeane scowled.
"Shut up. I'm dropping you off and running away." She swore.
"Pfffft." She knocked on Kellen's door and waited paitently, grinning.

Kellen yawned, flicked the computer off, and stood up, writing a brief note to himself on a post-it. He walked over to answer the door, and pushed it open, suprised when he saw a Protector standing there.
"Oh!... Umm, hello. How can I help you?"

"Hiya." Jeane said, edging away slightly. "That's a Mignon. I heard there were doctors here, and wanted to know if you could check her over, make sure she's normal and all that junk."
"Yuki told me you were nice and wouldn't hurt me." She smiled smarmily at her mother. "But Mommy is silly and is scared of you. You don't look all that scary!"

"Oh, of course I don't mind. It's just me though - Falcon is very sick, and I'm afraid he's not allowed out of bed."
He opened the door wider, and stepped aside so that the both of them could enter.

Jeane continued to back up. "I'm sorry to hear that. I'll, uh, go find a bathroom or something."
The onion girl grabbed her hand and dragged her into the room. "Come on, Mommy." She was still grinning. "I've never been to a doctor! What do you do? What's your name? Are you going to poke me with a needle? Is Yuki going to be a cool doctor?" She asked, bouncing slightly.

Kellen was a little overwhelmed. Ok, that was a lie. A LOT overwhelmed. But he smiled, and answered the questions as they came, not giving a second thought to helping out the little one.
"What do I do? Well, I'll explain everything as I go. My name is Dr. Kellen Arrikanez, but if you want, you can call me Kellen or Kel. I'll have to vaccinate you, yes, but it won't hurt near as much as you think it will. And I really don't know about Yuki.. He's a sweet kid. He's got a lot of promise."

"Kel is a nice name." She decided after a moment of thought. "I'm Mignon, but She told you that allready. Her name is Jeane. She's my Mom, kinda. She's hormonal." The last word was said carefully, eyeing the woman. Her eye twitched slightly. It wasn't a term she was fond of.
"It's good to meet you, Kellen." She nodded at him. "Don't worry about hurting her. She's got skin tougher than elephant hide."
"My skin is very delicate and smooth! And not gray, like a smelly fat elephant!" The two girls glared at each other.
