Spirit, in the broadest sense, is a non-physical nature, perceived to be eternal.
The Bible says there is an outer man and an inner man. In other words, there is a body and a spirit.
The spirit is also the body in man that has no material or physical form.
When you think of "spirit," what do you think of? Angels with wings? What?

i dont know really. sometimes i think of an angel, complete with wings and everything. but at other times, its just a paler image of ourselves. like a see-through version or something. but either way, i think we have been too much influenced by the media. a spirit in God's eyes is probably something so much more beautiful than we can ever image. ever.
