Well as you know my dorm is haunted by a murdered child named Rose. Lately she has been taking a liking to my roomie, GemEncrustedEarth and myself. We heard giggling and felt a child's hand on our shoulders and even Gem heard a small child say "Hi." one night.
So anyway one night I had this dream where I felt two little hands press down my matress like a little child was trying to climb up to get on the bed. This has happened before (when I was awake) and wanting to know the truth I sat up in my bed only to see this little girl at the side of my bed. She had the pretty little curls,the cute ribbon in her hair and a pinafore on. She gave the overall impression of a china doll.
She floats toward the center of my room and reached out for me. But when I get a hold of her hand, something happens. The little girl (who for some reason I identified her as Rose) turns into a demon who casts off this shadow so no light can penetrate the room. I can't describe the way the demon looked but before anything happened, I woke up.
I told my roomie about it and she thinks that the dream is a message from the other side of things that can become reality. But I don't know if I really buy into the dreams are an omen thing.
So based on what I said, is the dream a potental message from the other side? Or is it a dream and nothing more?

If this dream is a message from the Spirit world it may just be a bit of a warning to be aware of how much you let these spirits in your dorm into your live. I know that a lot of people live their lives very close to the spirits all around them but some of them can have negitive effects on you without meaning too.
Another way to look at it is that maybe she girl, Rose, is trying to warn you that there is something else there that hasn't appear yet. In a lot of cases of places being haunted my murder victiums you find a lot of the time the murder also returning to place where is happened.
Then again if you had had a bad day before you had the dream it might just be that coming through in your dream.

Interesting...my dreams though tend to be a vast incohernt jumble of stuff. what suprised me was the dream's coherentness and belivability, you know? I don't think that my day had too much influence.
Its odd that you say that because one of our theories for the male presence in the dorm is that he is her killer. During the summer a few residents and I did an EVP and we got a male voice saying "yellow" which stories said is the color of the only thing they found of Rose's.
We have felt an intimidating male presence in the room and we do maintain a "sisterly" relationship with the little girl spirit. We leave things out for her and if we get the cold spot ghosts usually create, we greet her.
Could this be an invitation for other agressive spirits? Or is my concience wanring me through the dream because I know that what we're doing is not in my style of ghost hunting?
