Witchcraft, in actuality, originates in the Anglo-Saxon and Germanic countries. It is, in essence, another underworld tradition. Now, in modern witchcraft we have Wicca. Wicca takes from Western Occultism (Hermticism, Masonry, OTO, GD, etc) and Anglo-Saxon AND Celtic AND Italian traditions.

Witchcraft is pretty much, I feel, what the practitioner defines it. Mostly they do not do ceremonial magic and instead work with spirits or gods or what have you. Witchcraft, I feel once more, has lost what its definition. Because there are so many different interpretations that it is hard to find what it is.

Truly, just research and be skeptical and take everything with a small Siberian salt-mine.
