"Weakness? I see no weakness." He laughed. Everything about him seemed to bring a positive to himself. But again, the ego was taking over. If one was weak, that's where the other could be strong. He flicked his tail. "As long as we get to play with them first. Just kill them wouldn't be fun."
Seeing what the other did, and watching the blood drip from his paw, it was best to do the same. He took a claw with one of his paws and then lifted the other to do the same type of cut, just enough to have some blood. Then offering his bloodied paw towards the other one. It was more of a pact, then anything. A truce, or alliance, he thought. They were a team now.

Dubhán laughed his cruel laugh at his brother's proud words. He was much in the same mindset, but he still knew that they both had faults in their skills. But now, there was none of that left.
Smearing the blood together as their paws met, Dubhán almost swore that he could feel forgotten bonds growing strong between them, connecting them in ways he had never felt before. His eyes snapped up and searched for the green ones of his brother. Did he feel this strange feeling too, or was it just his own imagination?

Thona could feel the bonds of the two grow stronger every second. As if lost time was filling up now. How would one ever gets that his only enemy could turn out to be his greatest partner. It was like their first meeting was just a flicker of imagination that had crossed their minds only for a second. Pill his paw away from other. It was time to start over, as if they had been together from the beginning.
Time seemed to pause, and it seemed as if no one could stop them. Apart the god they followed. Or at least, that was who could only stop Thona. "Well, now that that's settled." He said.

Drawing in a deep breath, Dubhán felt something he had never felt before. He felt like he belonged. Never breaking the eye contact with his brother, he realized that he knew he could always depend on this stranger in his life. The fact that they had once been enemies was gone from his mind; as a dream long forgotten.
Dubhán smirked at his brother "Well, now that we are back to a friendly basis, perhaps you could inform me of what you go by now. I shiver when I think of the names our parents had granted us, and as you already know, I changed mine long ago... I'd have a hard time believing that you'd go by that name for much longer than I went by mine..."
Remembering his newfound status of being a member of a pack, he blinked a few times before he continued "and perhaps you introduce me to this idea of being in a pack... perhaps tell the story of how the God lured you in?"

Thona laughed. "They couldn't name me even if they tried." Well, it wasn't like he even remembered what pathetic name they tried to give him. Probably bob, or knowing them, some girl name. He peeked around hoping no one was around either. Though everyone in the pack knew his name already. "Thona" He said in a hush voice anyways.
Never know when there was passer by Ulaya. Got to keep his name on the down low. "Just... don't... Say it a lot.." He reminded him with a stiff nod.

Dubhán laughed harshly and nodded back "Likewise... few are worth of knowing my name"
Tail twitching on the ground, he glanced around, excess energy pulsing through his body, screaming to be let out. He had left all his anger and annoyance sitting in his blood for too long, and his heart longed for something, or someone, to take it out on. Knowing that it would be pure suicide still for him to attack another member of the pack, he threw his brother a malicious look, and purred "how about we find some prey and... test this new partnership?"

"Ah. So I'm now worthy then?" He teased as he brother hadn't stated his name either. He couldn't help but snicker on the thought. He didn't know if he was hungry at the moment. After that long trip of catching that boar, he still wasn't that hungry from that. Though, Just seeing how the other and him were paired up was good enough for him to go out and kill some innocent creature and leave it there. "I guess, I can spare the time." he said as if he had something important to do.

Dubhán raised an eyebrow "why, my dear brother, never took you for a forgetful one" he smirked "I do believe I told you already, the first time... well... the second time I suppose it would actually be, time we met. But I shall grant you the knowledge again" he glanced around, scouting for eavesdropperes, but didn't bother lowering his voice, as he was content to have seen none "I go by Dubhán now"
He snickered at the air of importance his brother tried to carry with him, and nodded "It will be a great pleasure, I can promise you that!"
He turned around, and slowly started padding out of the clearing, as silently as he had come.

"Normally I'm not forgetful, but I guess when I'm a big angered I tend to not hear things." He snickered and raised an eye brow. Well, now they knew each other's name. Thona didn't take any pause as he joined his brother's side. It was funny how one moment could change one's view. Moments before they were just enemies, now it'd take a god to rip them apart.
Well, all killing to him was a great pleasure, but he wasn't sure how to take a partner, though it was worth a try. "Indeed it shall." He moved as swift as the other, though he was being lazy and wasn't quite as quiet.

Dubhán grinned silently at his brother, his face twisting into a grimace that seemed more evil than joyful; his teeth glinting maliciously. But alas, the nature of Dubháns grin was his brother, and hence, his brother would understand the grin. It was odd for Dubhán to address the other ulaya as brother, and feeling it so natural.
Crawling through the forest, all thoughts of oddities disappeared from the panther's mind, as he focused his energies on tracking down prey. Turning his nose upward in the slight breeze, he noticed a faint musky smell, that could only be some sort of mammal.
Realizing that he had the disadvantage of not knowing the area well enough, he raised an eyebrow at his brother, silently asking whether this was prey worth hunting or not.

Thona looked at him and raised a brow. He couldn't tell by the smell what exactly the creature was, but it seemed to be small. Probably some type of rodent. It wasn't a bunny, he knew what they smelled like, but it was something to that sort. He shook his head at his brother. Surely, the other would think it'd be a small creature to? He wanted to test how strong they could be together. A nice male deer, or a cow. Though the deer would be more impressive. Cows were easy to kill.

Dubhán only nodded in response. Although he hadn't been certain, he had figured that the animal must have been rather small, seeing as the smell was so faint. A larger animal would give off a much stronger smell. He knew the thoughts of his brother, and mentally agreed. This was to test their strength, not a hunt for food, really, so smaller mammals would be a waste of their time.
Padding on for a few minutes, another, much stronger, scent reached his nostrils. Freezing in his place, his instincts took over, and he immidiately identified the smell as a herd of forest deer. A smaller, faster race, and definately a challenge. He smiled, evil enjoyment evident in his eyes.
Twisting ever so slightly, he shot his brother a meaningful look. If they split up they could attack them from two sides at once, but their chances of catching a deer would decline, as they wouldn't neccessarily be able to see the other ulaya. If they stuck together there was the risk of getting in each other's way, but they would be able to go for the same deer.

He smelled them too. Thona looked to his brother with a side ways glance. They needed to pin point where they were, and then watch them to pick out the perfect one to track down. It was the only way to make sure they got what they wanted. He didn't know how to say it without being heard.
He looked to him and hoped that he could read eyes, or at least movements. He started off towards the heard kind of quietly. Looking back at his brother he needed towards him. He could always let his brother pick the pray, and he follow his lead. It'd be not like him at all, but it'd at least give him the idea of which one they were to go after.

Dubhán watched his brother intently, and immidiately read the look in his eyes. Yes, observe first, then determine which one they would catch. That would make it easier for them both. He nodded, and followed his yellow twin, constantly taking note of the wind.
If the got in on the wrong side, the deer would immidiately smell them, and they would run for it. He was fast, but if the deer already knew of his presence, they would be gone before he had even had a chance to process the fact that the winds had changed.
Creeping forward towards the clearing, he finally caught sight of the herd. Although this hunt was for pleasure, Dubhán wanted to go for something larger than just random doe. They would have to go for one of the almost fullgrown bucks. Fiesty and strong, but not essentially missed for the herd's survival. He was cruel and malicious, but also smart. There would be no point in making them all die now, just because he wanted the largest buck. Then the herd wouldn't do them any good in the future.
Noticing a rather large, somewhat clumsy looking buck not far from their huddled position, he tried to signal to his brother that it would be a perfect target, hoping that Thona would agree.

Luck was on their side, the wind was blowing towards them, not away from them. Giving the two more of the advantage. Perfect, they would never know what hit them. Thona saw his signal and saw their new target. He seemed like a very young buck, but fully grown. Very little experience in life. Something perfect for this test. He was strong, but not essential for anything quite yet.
Since Dubhan was the one that had noticed the buck, Thona nodded at him as if to tell him he'd follow Dubhans lead. Which was a big step for Thona. it was him saying he trusted his brother, even after all the years of not being with him. Something just clicked and they were now whole in a sense. They were twins, and he felt like they were never separated in the first place. One day, he'd get revenge on their parents.
He waited, patiently. He wanted to see how well Dubhan took charge, from their conversation he hadn't been in a group before, and it was a test really. One that he felt that Dubhan would pass with flying colors. His eyes were on the buck, but he kept his brother in his views so he knew when to follow and how.
