I seem to use it too much and I was wondering if you guys(and/or girls) could help me with my little problem.

Depends on how you use it. Can you give an example?

I've been working on minimizing my comma usage for a while. I used to be a master of the run on sentence, complements of the comma. Like Starblazer66 said, if you could give an example it would be easier to try to help.

Ah, the wonderful world of comma abuse. Unfortunately, the comma has a myriad of uses (and non uses) that can be endlessly confusing. While overuse can be a problem, so can under-use; there are, actually, places where commas are necessary. Examples would help the specificity of this post, by the by.
