Can't believe I can't find a topic for this already. Has anyone read the Stephenie Meyer books? Twilight remains my favorite, but i can't wait for Breaking Dawn! Edward is one of my favorite fictional characters now. heart

If you like vampires, definitely give it a try. She does put a new spin on some of the myths, though. I love it when authors do that. 3nodding

the reason she puts a spin on the myths is because she has never seen or read a vampire book or movie ever
i luv edward cullen and i can not wait for the new book!!!!

I didn't know she'd never seen or read anything. You wouldn't know reading her books. I can't wait either, have you read the preview for Midnight Sun?

i haven't read Twilight (yet), but if you like twists on vampire myths read Sunshine. It is written by Robyn Mckinley who is an expert at taking a well known story and adding twists to it (I shall never think Of Sleeping Beauty the same way again).

I'm surprised that not a lot of people here seem to know it!
It's definetly not a book I thought I'd read, not exactly my cup of tea, but I surprisingly enjoyed it a lot.

I haven't gotten around to reading Twilight yet. They filmed part of the movie on my college campus, and I am a photojournalist with the school paper so I got to watch a lot of it. Robert Pattinson gave me the copy he'd been reading inbetween sets when I told him I hadn't read it yet. I had no idea it was going to be so big or I would've had him sign it!

Wow um I think I might have fainted right then and there. So lucky! What part were they filming?
