Oh, give me a break. You claim to like Tifa, but you have nothing nice to say about her, haha. What does Aeris saying "I'll come back when it's all over" have to do with CLOUD liking Aeris romantically? :/ I believe that Aeris did come back in a sense, and it's debated on whether Aeris knew she was going to die or not. Tifa said Aeris looked towards the future more than anyone, and was always talking about the "next time". I think that Aeris knew that she MAY die in going alone, but she hoped that she would live on with Cloud and the others, and continue to brighten and work towards the future. Stop making Aeris seem selfish! You know nothing about her character, and yet you glorify her like a madwoman.

Haha, what other couples to they base on Cloud and Aeris? :/ Mind you VII means seven, meaning it came after the first SIX games. If anything, Cloud and Aeris IF they are this supposed canon pair as you claim, were based on somebody else. And don't pull some nonsense that the main hero always ends up with the damsel-esque girl, the white mage. Look at FFVI. Sure Celes was a healer, but she could FIGHT. She was independant, she could take over the heroine role. The common theme may be Whitemage/summoner/damsel+Hero, but that doesn't mean it's ALWAYS the case. Look at FFVI. Look at FFXII. Penelo IS NOT the white mage in Final Fantasy XII. She's not. I hate when people say that. And since there is no canon pairing in XII, she can't be considered as Vaans love interest until you refer over to Revnant Wings. And even with Revnant Wings, were was Fran a white mage? No.

It's whatever you believe, just like in FFVII. SoraXKairi--- based off of Aeris? HOW? Sora and Kairi were childhood friends, that got seperated. Sora goes off to find Kairi again, reunites with her and leaves her until he finishes some unfinished business. He finally reunites with Kairi in KH2 again, and she tells him that they won't do anything seperately anymore.
Sounds like Cloud and Tifa more to me! Childhood friends, whose feelings for one another start to become more and more apparent. Especially with the whole, leaving and coming back thing. Kairi is NOTHING like Aeris, IMO. She's nothing like Tifa either, and Sora is nothing close to what Cloud is. But if anything, this couple looks like Cloti.

This one I can see in the sense that, Yuna was going to sacrifice herself to save others, and that she never gave up on Tidus. Never stopped believing that he was out there, alive somewhere. Never even once considered liking someone else. She showed pure dedication--- no scratch that, Cleris is nothing like TidusXYuna. Tidus showed how much he loved Yuna unconditionally, and she did the same. They shared a 10 minute freaking long kiss, they had the cute whistle promise, they had... everything! Tidus gave himself up in Yuna's place. This couple does nothing but sacrifice everything they have for one another, and they NEVER EVER have doubts. They never give up on eachother. This pairing here, represents true love. It's also a canon pair. Cleris and Cloti AREN'T. Aeris is NOTHING like Yuna. Cloud, nothing LIKE Tidus. Yuna... gawds. I love her! She's brave, she's determined, she cares so much about her friends, and the one she loves... she was willing to sacrifice so much and she pushed herself to the ultimate limits. She was amazing, and as far as I saw she had no flaws.

A daddy's little girl that gets called a princess by her lackeys, whom she treats like utter s**t. She never thanks her father for trying to protect her from harm, and she's always fishing for pity she doesn't deserve, because BOOHOO living in a mansion is just too hard for her to bear, so she's got to rebel against her father who has done nothing wrong to prove what-- that she's a total b***h? She's only thinking about SQUALL AND HERSELF. How she can get Squall. How she can get HER way, and how she can get others to fall for her facade and follow her way as well. She's abusive, pushy, and could care less about anyones feelings. She switches between Seifer and Squall like mad, and says next to nothing when Quistis apologizes to her. An apology that "angelic" betch didn't deserve. Rinoa is no ANGEL in my eyes, and I'd like to stabbity her with a knife. :'D She kicked Irvine down stairs, made him do things her way. She pushed Squall, called him "meanie" because she's got the five year old mindset, forced him into things--- and suddenly he randomly cares about her?! WTF. She did NOTHING for him. Well Squall can have her. They can live in jackassery together.
THE only connection to Cleris I see in this pairing, is the idea of flowers, and "I'll be waiting".

LOLOLOLLOLOLOLOLOLOLLOLOLOLOL. The most un-canon piece of nonsense in the world! <33 I hate this pairing, in fact I loathe it. I also loathe Namine, so maybe that plays a part in it. Namine is a selfish, down right cruel person. She's a witch. She said so herself. She toys around with people, and spends time cleaning up all the careless messes she makes.
Roxas doesn't love Namine, come on now. If you believe so fine, believe what you want. But remember that Namine told Roxas he shouldn't exist, and he got all pissed off at her. Hell, I would too. If anything, Namine liked Sora for Gods sake. Sure, at the end Namine and Roxas seemed like the amends were made. They seemed like FRIENDS not lovers. Namine and Roxas showed no signs of romance. There was NOTHING there, no meaningful words, no sparks, no emotion. AkuRoku has more emotion and basis than Namine and Roxas, lmao. How do these two even relate to Cleris AT all? The fact that Namine doesn't know the REAL Roxas until later? Or what?!
Hints in AC pointed to Cloti, to me. Same with VII. Tactics I will give to Cleris for sure, that's a good hintage. FFIX, that's completely unrelated. Come on, nao.
As for Loveless, I think that's all a matter of opinion. :] And we need to know everything about Loveless before we can infer anything for sure. Also, Kingdom Hearts is not canon, and even if it was, I think it leans more to the Cloti side. Because, Cloud was never searching for Aeris.
