I've been playing with the idea of doing a suspension for a long time, and I finally deicded to do it. I got pierced by an amazing guy, Padraic Lindsey, who really left a positive impression on me. He does suspensions. I've asked him about it and he would be more than happy to help me with it. I don't plan on doing it until after my spring semester of school is over (sometime in May), so this gives me lots of time to really decide on how I want everything to be run.
On a side note, Padraic is kinda-sorta trying to put together a group to do private suspensions, so I might end up on a suspension team. xd If anyone is the Atlanta area and is interested, let me know.
I'll update this thread as things come together.

Thank you all for the support!
Right now, I'm thinking a 4 point suicide. It looks to be fairly simple and I've heard it's a good first suspension. For some reason, I am determined to do it in the nude. I figure, if I am going to be hanging from some hooks, let's just strip everything away because I want this to be a spiritual experience for me.

Day after my birthday :3 I think that it's prime to wait until it's nice out to do a suspension. I can just imagine they're so much better outside in the fresh air. I think I've decided that after my 4pt suicide, I really want to do a resurrection suspension. They're so beautiful.

That's when I go up. I know that the actual event may vary a little from this time, but that's fine.
