What is the one item you couldn't live without when your children were little? Other than diapers smile

Besides Diapers.
I never seemed to have enough onesies, blankets, and burp cloths. xd

My daughter's binkies seem to be constantly disappearing (sorta like socks). And the hospital got her addicted to one kind which is vanilla scented and we have to order special.

Not sure if that's the top item, maybe a tie between vanilla binkies, the bjorn, the diaper genie, and the breast pump... xp

My little one is 3 months old and I would have gone crazy by now if it wasn't for the infant swings they make.

She's colicy and has acid reflux so the swing helps her stomach settle and she loves it so much she'll sit in it for hours so that I can get some housework and other things done.

The advice I recieved and experienced:
1) never run out of batteries! swing, fisher price crib aquarium, bouncy seats, just about everyting takes batteries!

2) a really good rocking chair if you can afford it and/or recliner (my Dutalier glider reclines and it was worth every penny!) I could sleep while nursing.

3) we picked up an old crib and took one side off it, tied it to our box spring with thin cord and voila! instant co-sleeper bed. indespensible for the first few months. of course we had big twins so we really needed the big crib. sweatdrop

4) a sling.

5) a medela breast pump

I'm sorry! you only said 1 thing... sweatdrop
