See you at the pole.
Has anyone heard of it. I just learned of it this year. There's a site to: www.syatp.com

If you haven't its pretty cool. IT's september 26 at 7:00 am at your school's flagpole. You and everyone else who are christians get together. The slogan for SYATP is :Gather. Unite. Pray.
I'm not sure what exactly what you do. So, if anyone has done it let me know. I don't think my school does it, and I want this to be our first year.

The best idea i can give you is, if your church youth group has a lot of students at your school, organize with your youth pastor for him (or her) to be there. Sometimes a single church will be in charge of organizing it, sometimes one or two youth pastors just kinda show up when the students gather.

I would say don't worry about organizing it, just talk to some people around school and put up flyers (check to see if you need permission first) for it about a week in advance around school. Even if no one shows up but you, or a few people are there, it isn't about having everyone around the flagpole, it's about praying for your school.

Sadly, I won't get to participate in it this year, because I will not be at school at the time (morning classes and such), but I'll probably pray on the bus with my friends.

I know this is a year later...BUT...I know it could be very discouraging seeing noone else arriving but keep attending and doing your best, Im sure there are others who would love to go but are just to afraid to. God will touch them and bring them there.
