Basically, I'm bisexual, and I told my mom, and she was cool with it and all. SHe even said she thinks she is too, which helped me out a lot, because it made me feel more accepted by her I guess.
But recently, she's been calling me a "homo" and "queer" and "f*****t" and its really pissing me off. I don't know what to do.
Any advice?

Sometimes when these things happen you just need to sit your parent down and say 'I need to talk to you about something.' And bring the subject up and talk to her about it. Say why it hurts and ask why shes doing it or any questions you may have. Hopefully by being able to do this you'll get somethings streighted out between the two of you. 3nodding

Iagree, the best thing for you to do would be to sit down with your mom, talk to her, express your concerns and try and make her see that what she's doing is upsetting you.

rurica Tenaku Iagree, the best thing for you to do would be to sit down with your mom, talk to her, express your concerns and try and make her see that what she's doing is upsetting you. Communication is always the best road to take in any kind of relationship ^_^ I agree with both of them... But I find it kind of odd that someone would call their own child names like that in the first place... eek

Is she calling you the terms in a hateful/angry way or is she being playful and jokingly with it? If she is then she may not realize that these terms are often discrimitory and shouldn't be used such.....listen to the advice of the other people who posted, talk with your mother about it!

Well, perhaps you can explain to her that its really not funny to you. But if that doesn't work, she thinks shes bisexual to, right? So whats her problem? Explain that to her as well.
