Source. wrestler oberserver: After hearing he was going to be suspened for 60 due to being on the list of the online drug pharmacy, Booker T has desided to quit. with his PWA (is that what it's called?) and hip hop store in Housten doing well, he does not need the money.
For a few weeks he wanted to be higher up on the board. going to the creative team meetings, BUT he wanted to go when HE wanted to go.
RIC FLAIR STORY:

The main reason why Ric Flair decided to quit WWE (there are still ongoing talks to try and bring him back) is due to a storyline idea. A major name submitted a story to creative involving an angle between Flair and another worker. Flair was happy with the angle and if it happened he would have came off well.
Creative then changed the storyline and Flair thought he would have came off looking weak and totally disagreed with the new direction causing him to pack his bags and leave.

Well it's been confirmed that Book is out of WWE (a big loss for WWE in my opinion but hey, PWA does give him some southern recognition), as for Flair, As awesome as Flair is, I really doubt he'd get his way in WWE any time soon so yeah, I can see him out of the business as well.
