Pffft.
All those things can only ever get you so far. I mean It doesn't take into account the make of guitar/amp, the pick ups, the pick up placement. I mean even things like string gauge/type, or make of pick will effect the tone.
Though to be perfectly fair I'm a plug in and play kinda of guy. To me it's clean, or distortion. Then you can add effect like delay/chorus/flange/phaser/wah/"you get the idea" on top. =) When I get a good amp and guitar I may change my mind. But until that day...
