Hidden away behind fragant bushes laid Kiryl, head on his paws. A lot of time has passed since he'd last had company. Normally, solitude was welcomed and accepted as the best way to waste life away. And yet, there was something about the awkward and uncomfortable feeling of having someone to talk to that he was beginning to miss. Raising his head, he sucked in a gentle breath. Roses. They'd always been important to his family. Maybe that was why he chose to lay with them. Blue eyes scanned each visible bloom and bud, noticing their tiny differences and deciding that it was alright. Different was good, he'd learned. Another breath brought more of the wonderful smell.

Soft paws stepped on fallen leaves as Gale made her way through the forest. Every one in a while she would stop and gently click the silver bands on her forpaws just to continue on her way like nothing had happened. Her large ears were almost always moving with the sounds around her.

Ah, a peaceful day. Gale really didn't feel like dealing with anything, so the calmness came as a gift. It was easy to navigate the forest when she didn't have to worry about running into trouble. She took in a deep breath and let out a sigh. Roses. What a wonderful scent.

Aliece wondered through a large field filled with daisys. She looked around noticing a small group of berries and roses. She layed down next to the roses and let the red peddles tinkle her nose as she smelled the peaceful scent that reminded her of home.

Sensitive ears slid back, twitching gently. The sounds of normal nature were easy to recognize for one who'd lived in the forest so long. It wasn't surprising that he was able to pick up some sort of difference in the rustling around him. Blue eyes narrowed thoughtfully. Either he was imagining things or soon he would have company. He was almost possitive it was the latter.

Now would be the time to escape if he wanted. His father's words rang in his mind as they always seemed to at times like this. 'After introductions, one must never leave unless exused.' His tail twitched in nervous thought, rustling the bushes behind him and making his position obvious.

The mini-kylan froze mid-step, one foreleg resting in the air. She had heard something rustle to her left, so she turned and listened attentively. What could it be? Gale concentrated hard now, allowing her to pick up subtle hints around her that most kylan would not notice. Along with the scent of roses she picked out another scent, one that could easily belong to another kylan. Then she heard breaths among the soft shuffing of leaves, telling her the stranger could be in a bush in front of her.

She took a few steps forward until her white plumes could touch the bushes. Rose bushes, judging by the power of the scent. No doubt the stranger had seen or heard her coming long ago. "Hello?" she asked curiously, wondering if Kiryl was friendly. She hadn't noticed Aliece.
