Who else here loves rocks like I do? I just started university this week and I am finally going to be able to start studying that which I have wanted to for a while: geology.
I find that geology is a very interesting science, there are so many different sides of it. The analysis and the danger of a volcano or earthquake.
I'd love to hear peoples opinions on this branch of science, and it's own branches.

Rock hunting is a hobby for me. I add a few more rocks to my collection each toime I travel. Oh, and you might want to check out a geology or earth science club in your area. For instance, I was a member of ESCONI: the Earth Science Club of Northern Illinois.

Yeah, there is a club that is part of the faculty of earth science. I haven't joined it, but I might. For now just studying it is a lot of fun for me.
