everyone says that love is hard to get and keep.
Love is something physical which is not true.
Love is a feeling that makes someone wants someone BOTH physically and meantally. But I had seen a lot of people say "I love you" but after a while, days, months or years they fight or leave each other and why is that?!
Because there was a "stupid" conflict between them both and they "didn't" try hard to fix it.
Nothing is perfect in this world. So everyone should know when they say the words "I love you" they have to be LOYAL to the person they say it to and make SURE that they are ready to be with that person and not say it to everyone they want to say it to then just ditch them.
I hate it when my friends say their girl friends are the best and all that but after a while they just leave them and the reason is that they either got "bored" from them or they don't want to fix what happened between them both.
Love has to be like a "give and take" thing.
You have to sacrifice some of your time and make it for the girl/guy you love or that love will not last 1 month!
You all have to be loyal to each other, tell the truth and "NEVER" lie or it will end up really bad.
When you love someone it doesn't mean "Hey! Go get presents for the person you love so s/he knows that you love him/her!"
That phrase is wrong completely!
I know when you something for the person you love they will love it and be really happy and keep it as proof of your love.
But did you ever think if you can just keep her/him in your soul, heart and mind that might be the best gift to him/her?
The girl that I love. I never got her ANYTHING till this day...
But our love is strong. We had 1 big fight that could have ended EVERYTHING!
But since we both love each other so much and know how much we both mean to each other we managed everything. We did everything together even when we weren't there by each others side.
She is a great person who has forgived me for all the bad things that i did and all the hurt that I did to her.
Love should be something sacred and not a common word used by everyone. Love should be used for your "true" love only.
How to make sure that s/he is the true love of yours?
You will think about him/her!
They will be in your mind when you are away from them!
It will hurt you leaving them or saying bye to them and have a weird feeling from the inside!
Sorry if this was like.. a long post.. I just wanted to take it out of me and see what you guys think..
P.S: Please don't reply something that has to do nothing about this topic..

Lol, that was a really long post.
BUT You make a lot of sense. Everything that you said there is true. I have been in love with my boy friend for three years. We have sacrificed a lot for each other. Mostly him, he has always given up everything in his life for me. I am truly grateful to him for that. It means the world to me to see him do so much for our relationship.
When we are away from each other we fight a lot over the phone. We get frustrated very quickly. But when we are there in person our fights do not last long. We have had a lot of fights over the past three years but non has gone unresolved. It is hard for us to keep secrets from each other, cus it is difficult to keep something a secret from him. No matter how hard others make our lives together we just remember the good times we had together and look to the future for the best.
Squinty this post was very touching, I almost felt like I wrote it.
I have seen a lot of my friends do the same thing. Say "I love you" then later they break up with the guy and is with another. Or guys who is with their girlfriend and isn't loyal. Love means a lot of things. I believe in what you say that when you say "I love you" it means being loyal to that person. That's why I will always be loyal to my boyfriend. This was a nice post squint. I know some people don't believe in love. Either cus they have never experienced it or that they did but they were hurt in the process. But what I do know for sure that you really do not know what it is like until you experience it yourself.

I know it is long.
You and your boyfriend have been through a lot and I know every couple go through something.
I just let it out of me because everyone keeps saying that they know what love means but do they?!
When I wrote it I was like thinking about her. How things are with us. What people should know about all this.
Me and her don't fight a lot but usually miss each other more then fight.
We would do anything to be together but it is hard right now so I am doing m best to keep her or MAKE her happy but it is hard since I am in college and away from her..

I haven't experienced love for another person, but most people now a days that are around my age only care for looks. That is wrong, I don't quite believe in "love at first sight" because that just means you love their looks, nothing about them matters. Of course a lot of times in movies everything works out but that's not true in real life. People need to understand that love for looks can and will cause the downfall of their relationship.
You guys are lucky to have someone so close to you ^ ^

I loved her because she has a great personality, she is sweet, caring and lovable by everyone! No one is like her to me! 4laugh

I agree with Silverliss, I do no believe in Love at first sight. Lots of good looking people have the worst personalities. Relationships based on looks mostly do not work out good.
