Name:Cynthia Crow
Age: 18
Sex:Female
Sexuality:[undetermined]
School year:Senior
Nickname: Magpie
Personality:Cynthia is very dedicated, she will do anything and stop at nothing to finish something. Back stabbing, tattling, and exposing dirt is just part of the journey for this school reporter. She loves her column and is devoted to school gossip and school happenings. Loyalty is not something she worries about, unless it is loyalty to her readers and her newspaper. Friendships are material to Cynthia and she doesn't care if you are her best friend, she would sell you out for a story if she thought it would sell. Cynthia can be very loud and obnoxious, normally a teacher's pet in class, though most of them cannot stand her either. With that said, Cynthia can do undercover work very well, being sly and able to blackmail well, but when it comes to the 'Populars' she knows better and usually prefers to swap information. She does well in school, her grades are average, since most of her attention is given to the paper.
School Background:Cynthia grew up in the big city, her parents moving her out into the suburbs after elementary school. When she lived in the city though, she walked to school each day, picking up a paper on her way. She read the whole thing before second block of the day and always cut out her favorite journalists and kept the articles in her room. She was an outcast from than on, always trying to discuss current events with the other kids, but none of them cared who was president, they only cared about what mystery meat was for lunch that day. In middle school, she at least had some teachers who would discuss things with her, still making her an outcast and now labeled a 'teacher's pet'. It was in high school, in her freshman year, that Cynthia joined the school newspaper and found her calling. She changed quickly, using her lack of strings to float from group to group, digging up secrets and using them in the paper. It wasn't long until she earned her nickname, "Magpie," Since her last name was Crow, and Magpies always mimicked and used the songs they heard as their own, it seemed to fit Cynthia perfectly. She even writes her articles under the pen name "Magpie," proud of her reputation.
Favorite Subject:Journalism. If it wasn't an obvious choice for Cynthia, journalism has her by the heart. It is her passion and she loves bringing secrets to the public eye. She wants to grow up and be a famous journalist for the New York Times, with her own column where she reports on politicians, leaders, and super stars, rather then 'who likes who'. Every reporter must start somewhere and dedication is Cynthia's middle name.
Group Position:Cynthia is the groups informant normally. When it suits her, she will approach Natalia or Veronica with some information in exchange for some dirty laundry that the group is always creating. It's easier to approach Veronica, only because she is quieter and softer then Natalia, but the loyalty in the group always leads her to talk with Natalia anyway and when Natalia needs to know something Cynthia doesn't hesitate to use the situation to her advantage. She is a very smart girl when it comes to her job and she will always look for a way to twist words, though it does her no good to do so with Natalia.
This Year:For years, Cynthia has been trying to crack the fortress that is the 'Populars'. She can never get any dirt secrets on any of the members, since none of them will talk to her, making her speak with Natalia and Natalia only ever trades secrets of others that she has found out, never revealing the inner happenings of the group itself. This year, her senior year, it is her mission to crack the case as her crowning achievement of high school. As it looks like things start to change around for the 'Populars,' Cynthia sees her chance to finally dig up the nastiest secrets of her career.

Name: Christy Blackheart
Age:17
Sex: Female
Sexuality:[undetermined]
School year: Junior
Nickname: The Jester
Personality: Christine has always been the more bubbly of the two twins, the more fashion minded and the more interested in boys, but she and her sister share the same passion, one for being on top, for being in control. Only problem is, neither of them have the qualities to be a leader, much more willing to follow Natalia's lead, Christy more so then Catherine however. Christy normally wears her pearly white smile, though it sometimes looks out of place with the black that she wears constantly, but she enjoys changing up her look from time to time, going from a Gothic punk on Monday, to a preppy school girl by Friday. Always quick with a joke or a laugh, it isn't a coincidence that Christy is the Jester of the group, she and her sister are the kicks and giggles keeping the tension at ease when situations arise. Christy is a happy girl, she has very little reason to be angry or upset most of the time, but mess with the group, especially her sister, and she will have a vendetta against you so fast your head will turn.
School Background:Growing up, they had the normal family, mom, dad, and an older brother. The twins went through elementary school relatively normally, though Christy was always made fun of for her changing styles, she enjoyed the 'far-out' clothes she wore, the neon colors, the spiked bracelets, but it seemed the other kids thought she was weird, they picked on her, pulled her hair and called her names. It was Catherine who would walk into the room and make them disappear. She would glare at the kids, her eyes a deep gray, and if looks could kill, hers would have. Middle school wasn't much different, though Christy found her voice, since Catherine couldn't always be with her; she learned to stick up for herself. She modeled herself after her twin, admiring her self-confidence and strength. Eventually high school came along and the girls were closer than ever, taking mostly the same classes their freshman year, they bumped into Natalia. Natalia and the twins instantly hit it off and it made Christy feel even better that someone older then them wanted them around. It only helped that Natalia soon took over the school with them right at her side, giving Christy the confidence she needed to really blossom. Now Christy goes through boyfriends/girlfriends like candy and can call a crowd. Her smile and laugh can light up a room, but she would never leave the group behind, they are her support, her backbone, and her everything.
Favorite Subject:Drama. Christy's smile and laughter are perfect for a stage presence and her new found confidence with the group allows her to stand tall and command the attention she needs as an actress. She loves losing herself in a character and will even stay in character with the group. Christy loves to play the "Who Am I?” game, acting in character until someone in the group can figure out who she is pretending to be. It isn't uncommon for the group to guess incorrectly on purpose to keep her in character if they like it.
Group Position:Christy, along with Catherine are pretty much the lackeys of the group, and they are just fine with that. Natalia and Veronica are seniors and both Catherine and Christy are followers of their lead. Christy enjoys the security she gets and trusts Natalia to make the right choices for the group; she also trusts Veronica to be there to catch anything Natalia misses, leaving the twins worry free. Christy and Catherine are often tasked with the odd job of 'talking' to someone or manipulating secrets out of someone, something both of them are extremely good at. Oddly enough Christy's bubbly smile has a sadistic side as well.
This Year: This year, Christy is really just focusing on helping the group stay together. A lot is going on and turmoil is about to arise. The idea of the group splitting up, even when Natalia and Veronica graduate, scares Christy. The group is everything to her, and aside from her sister, they are the only family she has anymore, since her parents have basically left them here in school to fend for themselves, really only paying tuition when they bill comes. The thought of being without the others terrifies her and she will do anything to ensure their friendships, and survival.

Name: Catherine Blackheart
Age: 17
Sex:Female
Sexuality:Straight
School year:Junior
Nickname: The Enforcer
Personality:Catherine was always the quieter of the two twins, keeping more to herself unless Christy bounced into the room, keeping her sketchbook with her most of the day, and finding drawing a more pleasurable activity then dealing with the vermin high schooler’s call boys. She has her opinions, though she will keep them to herself. Do not try and change them, or you will be sorely mistaken in thinking she will let you get away with it. Always sticking up for her sister throughout their childhood and into high school, Catherine has gained the reputation of the silent, but deadly type. She can be sitting alone in the corner reading her book one minute, but with the ill mention of her sister or the group she will be up, in your face, and most likely beating you down within seconds. She has no tolerance and gives no mercy, instant injury is all you can get from her, expect nothing more and nothing less. Even with this said, Catherine can be careful and detailed about her punishments, which means when Natalia calls for a more in-depth project it is still right up Catherine’s alley.
School Background:As kids, Catherine and Christy had the normal childhood, playing in the park with others, riding bikes in the summer, and the same scraped knees. Though most days Catherine would have preferred to stay inside and read her book or draw in her sketchbook, her mother simply wouldn't allow it. In school, Catherine always had the better grades of the twins, being that her mind was not always worried with what others thought of her, it was her sister’s weakness, and her downfall. Strongly protective of her sister Catherine, always comes to Christy's aid, scaring off the kids and showing them the strong side, the mean side, the brutal side. This continued even into high school, Catherine being backup to Christy's on-going show. She was relatively happy with the arrangement, not wanting a lot of attention or needing it, though part of her wished she could be more outgoing like her sister, Christy. That is Catherine's appeal to the group. She needs no one to keep her safe, she has very little want for the reputation it gives her, but it does give her the attention she's always secretly wanted, Natalia and Veronica feeding that with their liking of her darker thoughts, her deeper desires, and sharing them with her.
Favorite Subject:Art. Catherine truly enjoys the clarity that drawing gives her. Focusing on the lines, the shading, the shapes, and the big picture of her ideas keeps away the darker thoughts that plague her. She accepts her darkness, pulling it within her and expressing it in her drawings. Her way of making her deepest darkest thoughts look like abstract, beautiful works art is her talent, her secret, and her tool. She will sit for hours and draw to clear her head so that she can think correctly.
Group Position:Catherine has a very strong opinion of herself and her ideas, and would rather be on her own than part of group. Unfortunately for her, it is a fact that she is simply not a leader, and is content to follow when her needs are met. From Natalia and the others she gets the recognition that she is equal to her sister Christy and just because she isn't out-going or bubbly doesn't mean she isn't as interesting or as important. Also, the attention she craves is given to her in the group, the recognition of her darker talents, and their use make her a valuable weapon in the group’s arsenal, and happy to be the lackey to the more dominant seniors.
This Year:This is Catherine’s junior year, meaning that when Natalia and Veronica graduate next year, she'll be the top of the totem pole. She has no desire to rule as Natalia does, but she wishes to no longer be ruled over, she wants to be free and settle her own scores. Even though part of her cries for the leadership that Natalia gives her, which is why she stays happily with the group. This is her year to start stepping up and really showing that she can and will be a stand alone figure next year, it is her year to show her resilience and self reliance.

Name: Sophia Starlight
Age: 16
Sex: Female
Sexuality: Straight
School year: Sophomore
Nickname: Nitro
Personality: Sophia has always been the tomboy of the school, hanging with the guys and always getting dirty. She will never take the easy way out of things, determined to show that she isn't some girly girl like the other girls of CruelStorm High. Sophia is very pretty, but she either doesn't realize it or is always hiding it behind her boyish talents. She prides herself in her talent to make and get into trouble and she is often in the Principle's office, being accused of an array of pranks around the school. In all honesty, she could probably fit right in with the girls around school, but she is almost disgusted by the catty issues that they always seem to have, she is much more comfortable with the guys. Ironically enough, she is very prudent with herself, very 'proud to be virgin' and rarely ever seen flirting. When the guys make sexual jokes, Sophia finds herself joking around, expressing the male side, showing just how much she really is "one of the guys." The only time Sophia really gets nervous is at the thought of getting dressed up like a girl, always more likely to be found greased up and dirty from auto-body.
School Background: Sophia has been in the foster care system since she was only nine, her father in jail for grand theft auto and her mother dying in child birth. She was passed around like a hot potato before she finally found a family who would keep her. The Stradfords are nice people and love Sophia a lot, trying their best to give her a stable life to come home to. Sophia appreciates everything they have done for her except trying to keep her away from cars. It seems it was bred into her from her dad, but the Stradfords didn't want her following in her fathers foot steps. Sophia was unrelenting about being able to work and learn about cars, to be like her dad in all ways, but crime. She loved her father and still does, visiting him from time to time. Through school, her love for cars and working on them has always alienated her from the girls, but it helped her fit right in with the boys, and until her sophomore year in high school that was just peachy with Sophia. She despises the popular group and everything they stand for, manipulation and the domination of the male gender, but the thought of being more girly and finally getting a boyfriend has dragged her into their issues. She offers her services as a prankster and a master trickster in exchange for tips on how to dress, talk, walk, and act to get a boyfriend.
Favorite Subject: Auto-body. Sophia is the tom boy, the only girl, and the youngest in her class of almost all seniors and juniors. She loves getting right into an engine, tearing it down, and making it work again. She simply enjoys getting dirty and using her hands, dreaming of the sound of two-hundred horse power purring in her head, and the wind that blows by when a nitro-supped up corvette speeds by. She jokes around with the guys and feels totally comfortable with them, though she always feels like, because she is a girl, she had to keep proving she is one of them with small pranks and other stuff. The guys accept her as one of their own, even telling her that her name was too girly and have settled on calling her simply "Nitro" because she can fix a car faster then just about anyone else in class.
Group Position: To say Sophia was one of the group would be insulting to her. She would never even admit to associating with them, but her problems have driven her to doing business with them. She wishes to be more like them so that she can get a boyfriend or at least partially shed her 'tom boy' image. So in exchange, she will do some of their dirty work, pranking and planting tricks for them when they needed it. She isn't sure how deep they'll suck her in, but she's doing her best to stay afloat in the sea of darkness she has thrown herself into.
This Year: It has finally hit Sophia that she IS a girl and has feelings like one. She is slowly noticing the guys in her auto-body class as more then just buddies, which is a problem since she has worked so hard to make herself just 'one of the guys' and dating 'one of the guys' is weird. This year is it, Sophia's mission to show the guys that she is a girl and a hot one at that, but that she can still rotate tires and flip a head gasket better then any male they'll ever meet. She is even willing to overcome some of her hatred for the 'populars' and join in on some of their mischief to find some guidance on being a girl, since no matter how much she hates it, she had to admit that they know how to get a man.

Name: Rebeka Striker
Age: 15
Sex: Female
Sexuality: [undetermined]
School year: Freshman
Nickname: Beka Strange
Personality: Rebeka is a very stubborn girl, she finds something or someone she likes and doesn't care for other's opinions. On the other hand, she is very opinionated herself and is more than willing to let you know how she feels about just anything. She enjoys being different and the opposite of her sister, not into the popularity 'arena' that her sister Natalia lives in, and now that she is almost being dragged into it she is very spiteful of her older sister. Rebeka will be heard talking about her sister to just about anyone who will listen, which isn't many since few dare not talk behind Natalia's back. This means Rebeka will go out of her way to get in Natalia's, to stop her from getting the things she wants, and certainly to stop her from gaining more power. Don't think this means Rebeka doesn't love her sister, she really does, and defending her the way a sister would, "ONLY I'M ALLOWED TO MESS WITH HER!" kind of way. Somewhere deep down inside, she wishes she could have that relationship with her sister, that they could be close, but Rebeka knows that when Natalia looks at her she sees one word, "Project." Issues with hiding her want to be around Natalia come up when Miria entered the picture, bringing a mix of jealousy and relief to Rebeka. Natalia no longer wants to turn her into a mini-her, but in the process she has alienated herself from her own sister and given her a new girl to use instead, one better suited for the job. The biggest problem is that Rebeka does have some of the same qualities as Natalia, the natural leadership, networking, and scheming skills that run in Striker blood, but they never came out predominately for Rebeka and that is what disappointed Natalia so much and caused Rebeka so much heart ache.
School Background: Rebeka grew up in the same house as Natalia, same parents, same schools, so how did she end up so different? Rebeka always walked in Natalia's shadow, teachers always comparing her, kids always thinking she should be as cool as her sister, or having older brothers with crushes on Natalia. It made school awkward for her, so she retreated and became something so totally opposite from her sister that she thought no one would compare them any more. Unfortunately, it only made things worse; she couldn't be as good as Natalia at what she does, and being different only made people wonder how 'the apple fell so far from the tree.' It used to make her sad, make her want to change, and be like Natalia, but now it makes her angry and makes her wish her sister would fall from her little perch she had built herself. Rebeka is really a sweet girl who loves Natalia a lot, but she is so desperate to be her own person, to no longer be compared to Natalia, that she's willing to do just about anything to get out from under her shadow. Things have only gotten worse for her since she entered high school, where she shares a school with Natalia. Before, Natalia had always graduated before Rebeka arrived, at least giving her a chance to be something other then "Natalia's little sister," but now with Natalia as a senior and running the school more than ever, it's going to be hell for Rebeka, but she is bound and determined to change that.
Favorite Subject: English. Rebeka loves to write, poetry, short stories, anything. It calms her and lets her get what she feels out. Being very stubborn and a little ashamed of her position in life, she usually keeps the work secret unless it has to be graded. Normally, teachers love to read her work out loud to the class, but she hates hearing her own work, even read anonymously so she always turns down the invitations to read her work, or to get recognition for her talent, unless it is something she is really proud of that has nothing to do with her pain.
Group Position: Rebeka is doing her best to stay out of the group, even though she wishes to be close to Natalia again, like they were when they were little, but she simply can't stand knowing that if she did join in, Natalia would turn her into a mini-Natalia. Rebeka is well aware that she just isn't like that, she can't be twisted and sadistic like her sister, and she certainly can't manipulate people like that, it just isn't in her, though oddly enough she finds herself hanging with the group more and more when Miria, her room mate and new found friend, transfers in and Natalia takes a special interest in her. Rebeka knows the look in her sister's eyes, knows she wants Miria under her control, and knows she wants to make her the next 'queen of the school,' something she had been trying to make Beka into. It bothers Rebeka that her new best friend is being made into this "Natalia replica," but what bothers her more, is that Miria likes it, wants it, enjoys it. It makes Rebeka a little jealous on the inside so see that she is passed by for another girl, but she also sees opportunity when it shows itself. Though cashing in on that opportunity is getting harder for Rebeka. As a member of the council, she is pressured to vote against her Sister and her groups wants and contacts, this drives an even bigger wedge between Natalia and her. Also, when Miria offers her the second position in the "Spiders" she can't resist. There has always been something of her sister in Rebeka, the need to control and lead, but it was never dominant enough to go anywhere. A second position was just what she was looking for and even though she cannot be as twisted as Natalia, Rebeka is very skilled at arguing, preparing, and following through with plans, as well as finding backing where it is needed, it just comes naturally in the Striker family.
This Year: This year Rebeka is determined to make a name for herself, to show the school that she isn't just "Little Striker," that she is Rebeka and she is different from her sister. She has something to prove to herself, that she can withstand her own sister’s pushes and pulls to be more like her and become what Natalia wants her to be. At the same time though, she wishes to show Natalia that she can never be what she wants to make her, that she will never submit to her training, but that she wants her older sister back. The older sister who stuck up for her instead of disowned her, the older sister who walked her home from school instead of driving past her and ignoring her. When Rebeka came to CruelStorm High, she was given a dorm room by herself, something her sister arranged for her, but when Miria Shaw transfers in, a younger, blunter version of Natalia, the school is forced to place her in Rebeka's room and the two form a fast friendship. When Rebeka finally succeeds at pushing Natalia's advances for training away, things starts happening. Soon her Natalia wont even claim her as a Striker, "Little Striker" vanishes, like she had wanted, right? When rumors start to get spread around about her, things from her past, Rebeka knows exactly who is talking, and it hurts that Natalia would do this to her. At least Miria and her other friends stuck by her, understanding what she was going through. Then, Natalia did the unthinkable, slowly Rebeka's friends started dropping like flies, Miria literally dragged from their dorm room and taken for days. The next time Rebeka saw Miria, she was a "Popular." Natalia had worked her "magic" and turned Miria into exactly what Rebeka had wanted to escape, but she was happy about it. Rebeka knew that Miria was perfect for it, but it hurt that she had been passed up so easily. Why couldn't she be like that? Why couldn't she hold her sister's attention like that? She realizes that not only is Miria a good friend, but she's also her key to Natalia's heart again. Ironically enough, Miria still clung to Rebeka as a friend, keeping their partnership alive and well when Miria decides to form a Freshman group, "The Spiders", and Miria asks Rebeka to be her second. This is Rebeka's chance to show Natalia that she can do what she had wanted her to, but on her own terms. This year is all about making the move.
