I've never heard that before. I think there are aspects of both genders that are "like God", so I wouldn't want to say that.

Its a thing I've heard from when I was a Christian and a Christian friend alos knew about it. I just want to know the origin of this belief and where is it coming from...

Well, my guess is they're supposing.. In a lot of congregations, women do much of the work, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're closer to God. Historically, most Christians at most times have believed that women were farther away from God because in the second Genesis story woman is made second (out of man) and Jesus came to earth as a man. It wasn't until 1979 that my church even ORDAINED women, and while there have been many female mystics in the Church, most Christians have been slow to recognize their sisters as fellow workers in the kingdom, let alone assume they're closer to God.
It's my experience that men and women have equal capacity for knowing God, and as for being close to him, it depends on the person's willingness to receive the gift and the will of the giver.

Actually I've heard this saying before too, that women are closer to God than men. Of course I heard this from someone who stated "everyone starts off as a woman. That's why men have nipples."

Mostly because it draws LINES between men and women that don't need to be there.

Can't we all just agree that men and women are supposed to be uhh...
crap, I forgot what I was going to say.
But, I'm just saying that I've heard that quote too. It doesn't mean I believe it. I mean just because someone here's a quote doesn't automatically mean they believe said quote.

Mostly because it draws LINES between men and women that don't need to be there. biologically speaking, babies are formed with the beginings of both genders, just the placement and function are different. Women's ovaries are formed from the very same cellular collection as men's testicals, the same with the clitoris with the p***s. It isn't until late pregnancy that the actual differences show up. Thought some hard-core facts straight from a college-level human biology class might help ^^; so my point is that we (both men and women) are formed from the same stuff in the beginning. From dust to dust.

Xuchil I've heard this said before... I think theres a biblical passage on it.. Does anyone know where this origiated from? this is considered true by many energy workers, simply because women seem to have an afinity for it, but its simple, the energy is connected to feminism because that is basically the ideaology of creation and the foundation for more free forms of thought. but its not because your are considered more "holy" or anything, its simply because your more intune to the nature of energy manipulation.
