I have fallen in love with my Aenima CD. I originally started listening to them because that was all my ex-boyfriend listened to. At first they didn't grow on me and I found them irratating I felt like I didn't have the time or the paitence to listen to the music. But after I seperated from my Boyfriend I picked up a CD he bought me and was about to chuck it out the car window...but instead I laid down and listened to it. I felt myself get lost in that music. Almost like I was on a drug. Now this music just controls my mind and helps me clear my thoughts. I like it because there are songs that I can listen to to help me clear my thoughts and there are other songs that just make me smile like the song "Hooker with a p***s" that is definately one of my favorites. I saw them in concert back in July and that definately won't be the last show I go see by them.

Tool is class. Aenima is awesome. I have to say that I do not like how the "new breed" decided to take them as idols and make them look like any other mediocre band... I suppose the new albums helped, but still... Aaaanyway, I like them indeed, yeah, especially Aenima and ******** yeah. (And they are NOT "nu-metal")

I'll explain myself a little better. He is an amazing artist i am not scratching his name in the least. What I am saying is the mass army that he has built behind him. His army isn't bad he has shown people a separate way to look at the world. Or at least he has taught me music isn't all about lyrics, you can connect with it in so many more ways.

I like Aenima, and thats about it. Tool is good, just that I've grown out of it, so to speak.
I have a friend who loves them and knows a crap load about them, which isn't odd because of who he is.

I find Tool a bit overrated, they are good but not as good as everyone makes them out to be.
I also think they lost their edge after 10,000 Days. They used to have a somewhat mellow and creepy feel to their music but on 10,000 Days it just seemed like "I am writing music, because I need the cash" or "I could make this song better, but I just want to hurry up and release it". I was disappointed with the horrific s**t on that album, but there are a few good songs on it like Right In Two, I enjoyed that song.

I like 10,000 days. Your right though it wasn't their best. But I think many artists are guilty of that.

I love tool. I dont love all of his music, and dont think I would like him very much. I think that he was trying to rush the last album cause he didnt want to do it at all. and I know that most of the regulars here think they are crap, but to each their own I guess
