He yawned, stretching his little body. He was bored again, and couldn't find his siblings. So he'd decided to take a walk. It was still morning, and the sun wasn't so hot, ideal for going out. Besides, even if it was sunhigh, he didn't have that much trouble. His fur was predominately white, yet he still had the tell-tale red firekin had. No one could doubt his origin.

His tail flicked, and he looked around the dunes curiously. Maybe if he didn't find his siblings, someone, or thing, new would show up. It'd be neat. Maybe he'd see a slave; although he knew about them, never had actually met one. No, Spaki didn't intend on scolding slaves, he did, however, still have that idea of him being higher than them. If they were respectful, he'd be nice. If they weren't, he'd be mean. Simple! He didn't feel keen on beating them up, just because of what they were-- he thought they had to -deserve- it.

But his thoughts were cut short as a lizard darted by, and he shot after it. Spaki was a nice, healthy cub, and pretty well fit, however, he was still but a cub. It outran him. And left him skidding to a halt in the sand. "Darn. " He snorted, not able to find a better word, then, just for the heck of it, muttered "blasphemy", if only because Aza had said it when he'd met her.

Shetani had itchy feet, always wandering about and scrambling over things in the restless search for something that might keep him occupied for more than five minutes. He definitely wasn't a 'home-bird' and despite his age, he was alreayd dreaming of what he might do when he was older, the places he would go, the independence he'd have.

Hopping down from his favourite scratching post (a fallen tree), it didn't take long for a white form to blaze into his view. How could anyone miss that?!

He ran over, and his brother's distinctive appearance became clearer and clearer. He reached him just as the lizard scurried for freedom.

"Too fast for ya?" he chuckled.

He blinked flicking his ears in surprise. His brother stuck out more than him in the day, like a big black coal rolling down the sand. Now, at night his white fur stuck out more strangely.

"Well.. it woulda been too fast for you too! * He frowned, and growled, however, this was a play-growl. He crouched against the sand, flicking his tail. He'd missed the lizard, but he sure as hell wouldn't miss shetani!

"Hey!"

A young voice not too far off called, and with the voice was a young female, not really much older than the two boys. She stopped short, however, realizing that what she saw before her wasn't mere conversation, but some kind of fight of sorts. Who knew? Her siblings were all strange, herself included. Kadogo hated fighting because he always lost, Ashi only ever fought for real or to practice, Vari she'd yet to figure out, and Zita wasn't that different from Ashi. It might be play to Zita, but she bit too hard, and pounced too hard for Zari's taste. She didn't play with her sister very often, needless to say, only when mother made her.

"Are you two having a fight?" She asked, a bit of awe and confusion mixed in her voice as she cautiously closed the distance, trying to get a better idea of what exactly was going on. Play, or for real?

Shetani held that self-confident smirk on his maw right up until Zari made an appearance. He mirrored his brother in readying himself to pounce, wiggling his fiery backside in a comical fashion, and then made the mistake of losing focus for Zari. She made him feel...a little inadequate...at least in the pelt department. He greatly admired how red she was!

"Why? You wanna join?" he smiled mischieviously.

He blinked as Zari showed up, and flashed her a meek grin, about to say something, when he realised his brother had gotten distracted. He took that, and leapts onto his brothers back, wobbling around to try and pin him.

"Yea! Help me beat 'im! " He growled playfully, attempting to grab at his brothers ear.

"Me?" She squeaked, wide eyed, observing the sparring boys. The idea of fighting when she didn't have to honestly wasn't very appealing... but to avoid sounding like a spoil sport, she responded in a chipper tone. "I think I'll pass, but I'll watch if that's okay?"

Shetani 'oofed' as Spaki suddenly leapt for him. He wiggled and hopped about, trying to dislodge his brother and laughing. He flopped on to his side and flailed his paws about in an attempt to bop his brother.

"Pssh...she's a girl, we shoulda known better than to ask if she wants to fight," he said in reaction to Zari's reluctance to play-fight. Had Ilahle been here, he probably wouldn't have said it.

Attempting to get out of range of his brothers paws, Spaki tried leaping over him, but ended up getting kicked mid-flight and falling-- only fortunately, on top of his sibling once more. "Ah! " He squeak, wriggling a bit at the awkward position he'd landed in.

However, he did hear Zari decide against a playfight. "You serious? " He asked, looking at her, and grinning a bit inwardly at his brothers comment. "Mom says that it helps us train for when we need to fight! " He nodded smartly, though he doubted he really thought of it that way. To him, it was mere fun. But hey, he was just quoting mom so Zari might change her mind!

"Well, you're just a boy! And everyone knows that the girls are stronger hunters and fighters here!" She shot back, glowering, remembering well what her mother had said, she quickly fixed her expression into what she hoped was an unaffected grin instead. "Besides, you shouldn't be so quick to show off what you're capable of in front of strangers, you should always have a surprise waiting, or else you're just predictable."

Aha! His brother was still within range! Perfect. Despite Spaki being in a greater position, Shetani still put all his efforts into the playfight, ignoring what Zari said for the time being. He wriggled about against his equally wriggly brother and bopped him and flailed and pinched at his fur and mane-ruff.

"What makes you think we DON'T have surprises?" he smirked back, inbetween struggles.
