Paws padded softly across the ground as he went in search for a new, peaceful place to take a nap, as was his favorite habit of the normal days in the Kusini'mwezi pride. Tota'keke rarely saw his family anymore, such as it was that he moved on a daily basis to find new napping places, places to hunt good food, places to hide. He was by no means a small lion, nor was he weak, though when one watched him, one could say he was quite laid back and oft times too kind for his own good.
His green eyes beheld the mysterious inner workings of his mind, though none who didn't know him could say he was mysterious. They also made other queasy, seeing his spring colored eyes; could almost say he were a seer, were it true. Tota'keke, having found what he was sure to be an isolated spot, settled down with a few soft noises of pleasure for having found a perfect place to rest and nap away. Since he also tended to be lazy, Tota'keke could always be found by someone, be it rogue, pride member, or even family... not that he particularly cared, so long as he got his nap.

It was one of those rare times when Buu was alone. She had just finished dinner with her family, her tummy slightly bloated in an unnattractive way. But dinner had put her in a good mood (if slightly lazy as well). She had ate with her real family, the smaller of the two families she considered herself to belong to. It was just her father, brother, sister, and herself. Sometimes they did not eat together at all, or most of the time there was always someone missing from the dinner table. But, that was life, and mainly the reason why she enjoyed mostly eating with her other family.
She had been idly considering sleeping off her meal, as she usually did after such a large dinner. But the sight of a brown lion not far in the distance distracted her. Surely he was sleeping... but she was riding on the hope that he wasn't. Buu loved conversation, loved meeting new creatures and befriending them. On most occassions Buu turned out to be pleasant company. So she approached this rather random lion, grinning brightly at him even though she wasn't sure if he was awake or not. "Oh, hello... would you like some conversation?"

An ear twitched when a bug landed upon it to batter away the annoying pest, and he shifted his enormous bulk into a more comfortable sleeping position. Perhaps because he was more focused on trying to sleep than on his surroundings, Tota'keke hadn't noticed he had company until she had spoken. Feeling his heart leap into this throat in pure surprise, his body language spoke differently as he shifted to idly glare at the intruder, when he saw that it was merely an adolescent of a lioness.
Sighing (in despair), he flicked his eyes over her quickly and then returned his gaze so that they now looked into the female's blue eyes. Wondering what had posessed this female to come out and greet him at the one few times when he was at his grumpiest (he hadn't had a nice nap in a while), he flicked his tail in curiosity for but a moment. And then, "Hello. I'm not sure I appreciate the approach or the surprise, but I guess some conversation could work." He felt his mouth twitch into a wry grin. He'd never spoken like that before... but then, he'd always had a weird of speaking to start with, especially from when he was but a cub.
