I totally forgot about this bit I've posted. And to think I was going to come on here and b***h some more about... Well, a boy (since he won't step up to be a man) and other issues. *shakes head* Now I don't want to cause I'd feel like I'm complaining too much.

Yes, there area alot of stupid men out there. Alot of them cannot see past their own ego.
As for the case with your sister, it seems it was for the best that they are no longer together. Although it was (as you said) a long relationship, he obviously did not value it. So, even though the guy was a p***k, it was better to end it now than however many years down the road.
To give a personal experience- I was with a girl for around 3 years. She became my fiance, we were to be married, yadda yadda yadda. Now, I felt very close to her, I loved her with every ounce of my heart and soul. And then I found out she was cheating on me. After three years of being with her, this basically killed my soul. If she had told me this when we first started going out (that she was cheating) then it would have been no problem, I would have left her and still had my heart intact. But after so long... it killed me.
Now, what I say next is purely just a suggestion, and I am in no way, shape, or form trying to be rude. Perhaps your sister needs to just take a break from dating for awhile, re-evaluate what she is looking for. When the time is right, she will find someone amazing, someone who deserves her.
Now, I do realize that I know neither you or your sister, but I am simply speaking from experience. Whether or not what I have said helps in any way doesn't matter, but if ever you need a ear to listen, or someone who has been through similar things, people like me are around to help.
