Because they want to more than a human. They want the world to see them as a goddess of beauty, to be that image that cannot be achieved...

i think that make up is really annoying and not worth it... i mean, you spend a half hour putting on this stuff, and then for the rest of the time you worry whether you have smudged it or not... when i wear make up (which isn't very often) i feel like i need to rub my face all the time...

roflmao! I could never wear make-up for more than 5 minutes. I would smudge it everywhere XD
