i heard some thing about a alien game for the pc or 360 or ps3 does any one have info on this i heard something like its coming out i 08

There are going to be two games coming out. One by Obsidion(The makers of KOTOR II) and one by Gearbox(They made the Windows port of Halo: Combat Evolved)
The one by Obsidion is an RPG, and the one by Gearbox is an FPS. Im looking forward to both.
One of them is set for 2009. The other does not have an estimated release date. I don't know which will be coming out first. I assume the FPS, but there are many reasons why they would release the RPG first. With the success of the KOTOR series, they might want to cash in on another RPG from another popular franchise. Im looking forward to the FPS the most though. I really hope the RPG isn't a KOTOR clone. While KOTORII was fun, it ultimately bored me in the long run.

I don't even know what the plot is. Are they gonna follow the movie plot and acctually make it an "Aliens" game, or is that just a title, like the other Aliens games. If its original, I bet they are getting his voice for either the real bishop, who could make an apperance, or you might get to meet another android modeled after him. I hope its an original story. I don't want to just play the movie.

In space... I saw this in a gaming magizine, it was back when they first bought the rights to the Alien series. i wasn't aware of the FPS though, I really want both! 3nodding We are finally getting something! ...no one can hear you scream

Both are original stories, Jack. >_> They just continue on from Alien and Aliens, though. And completely ignore all the other movies, comics, novels, and games. They're basically making yet another continuity for them.

They're basically making yet another continuity for them. Meh, as long as it STAYS in game form, Im fine with that. At least it leaves off after Aliens and not Alien Ressurection...though I do wish Alien 3 was included in there, its probably easier to leave off after Aliens. Then they have Ripley(with hair XD) Hicks, and Newt to work with...and bishop I guess. O_O though he needs to be fixed after the queen incident.

Original stories, with I believe original characters. If Ripley, Hicks, or Newt appear... It'll likely just be little cameos, not as main characters.

it takes place during the 1st 3 movies and you are 4 marines that go from world to world exterminating aliens
