I doubt any play or movie would be good enough for the book but i like the idea. If we ever get our Drama depatment up and running i might suggest we try something like that. We have planty of the overly obssesive fangirls( and people who just go crazy at the word vampire) to do the play. I wish you luck! ^_^

Thanks guys. And I totally agree with you 'KittyLuvsBritty' I've seen the same thing happen all the time. I will try to do well. But I can only go so far. I cant match Stephanie Meyers Brilliance unfortunatley.

phoenixrage93 Hundred Acre Massacre I don't think it would go over well with me.
Anything less than perfect, better-than-Broadway show and I'd kill you.
...
But that's just me. I'm sure you'll do a great job.
heart i agree

You know, I thought I was angry but wow eek SIT THE F DOWN takes the cake.
don't listen to her (him?) they have anger issues, it sounds like a great idea, and I'd love to do that with my old drama department in my old school. Best of luck to you. Oh and Directing and stage managing is harder than it seems, trust me stare

Oh no. You don't get a crown. What you'll get is a boot in the rear. Why? Because not only were you being a total b***h, but you were being downright disrespectful and inhuman. What the hell does it matter to you? If you're so damn passionate about the book, then why are you acting completely anti-Twilight? Granted, I read that you're so for the book, but understand that your attitude was beyond great. In fact, the only troll I see around here is you. A troll and a disgrace, point blank. Don't insult someone and say that they're going to fail. Ever. Especially in the manner you did it. Don't insult a place, a school, that you don't even know enough about, or nothing about. It's not in your place to say whether it's a wonderful school or a terrible school, kthnx. If you're going to act like an asshat, then I suggest that you keep your fingers from the keyboard and not type your stupidity out for us all.
And I wish you the best of luck, Snow Lea Makatu. Don't pay attention to SIT THE F DOWN. Despite people saying that no one can match the people in the book and so on, you all have to understand that it's a book. With vampires and werewolves. You can never really match a book, because a book is very expressive verbally, you get the feel of it in words, while with movies and plays it's all before your eyes, all played out for you visually. So naturally, getting something from a book is already going to be hard, because it's all words that create a wonderful image in our minds. So of course, no one will want a book made out into a movie or play because it'll pop that wonderful bubble that they keep their interpretation of the book in.
But in any case, I'm sure you'll do well if you try hard enough, and I can tell that you'll be dedicated enough. And! Have fun with it.

*Claps* You know ... I actualy like this Moonless girl...
While I do agree with you... (the fact that I'm a b***h thats needs to be slapped around a bit. Because yeah, my ideas tend to be typed out rather bitchy)
I will not regret my first comments. I highly doubt any play will go one what so ever. I'm not saying theres any thing wrong with it (Because belive it or not, I am a Twilight fan) IT. IS. JUST. NOT. LIKELY. This topic seems more like a really good idea in this forum, and I (not including my added bitchness) am merely trying to say so.
Oh .... and there is no rule against the large font. I like it ... I'll use it.

Heh. Well, I never really concerned myself with your font, because... I could care less if you used font 9 or font size over 9000. I just don't really like how you came off. And I'm just being honest, really. =/ I can be just as bitchy back... Or something to that extent. I can be horrible. -Shrug-
But in any case... Like I said before, it's hard to create a play out of a well written book. But despite it being Copywrited and such, you have to realize that there are other movies that have been made into plays, like The Lion King, and Beauty and the Beast, and so on. It's possible to create a play on Twilight. Now, whether it will turn out good or not is completely up to the "actors". I only wish her luck and to have fun with it. If she is truly dedicated enough and truly loves the book, then I'm sure that she won't butcher it.
Since you don't regret your first comments, then I won't badger on about it like others are.

What's wrong with poor schools??? some schools just aren't in the right place or just don't have money. sorry, but that really made me mad. my school is poor too, cause were out in the country but, i love it. and besides, wheather or not the play is good really depends more on the ACTORS than how much money the school has. i personally think that turning Twilight into a play would be great! i agree with it not being a musical though... even though i love musicals... i can't see Bella and Edward singing to each other... that would be funny. biggrin

Really? That is SO cool! How're you guys going to do the sparkling-Edward scenes? And the scenes where he's showing off his powers?
-.- Honestly, you people need to learn how to get over yourselves. Play OR movie, neither can capture the true essence of Twilight, because a lot of it is portrayed on Bella's feelings and INNER thoughts. Please, stop making fools of yourselves and trying to be all high-and-mighty.
Good luck with the play.

Good luck with the play. heart Ouch, harsh. *Shakes head at you*
Seriously though, I think that Twilight should be done as a play, like Phantom of the Opera (NOT the musical, the original... AND YES, there was an original >.<) But should only be done Broadway... *Shrugs* It's a good idea, don't get me wrong... but... I wouldn't be able to watch it, only because of the way I view the characters. heart
