The adolescent was large, larger then most. He was nearly fully grown and for a childish male it was rather annoying. His size meant that he couldn't do many of the things he use to and though he was still somewhat mischievous and loved it when others looked up at him and acknowledged his amazing self he had grown up some what. He was a little more sensible and could hold a conversation with someone for more then five minutes. He did still love to do some of his childish activities though, one of which he happened to be doing now, while laying in the sun.

He was an odd thing to see, a grey lion with paint splatters and musical notes all over him, with large feathered wings that were coloured as the rainbow. He looked as if he would be like a large teddy bear that anyone could go up to and hug. If one were to get a little closer they would hear a small whistling and the closer they got they would soon be able to see what it was the strange looking lion was doing.

He had made a large pile of rocks and below them were many small creatures such as lizards and mice, all dead. The whistling made them dance off the edge of the rocks where he then played with them for a little bit before killing them. He had never been told not to play with his food and he was far from hungry. It was hot and he hated it during the middle of the day it was too hot to do anything, including eat. He was bored, so he kept killing. Sometimes he would change the colour of the mouse to a really random colour before it died, sometimes he wouldn't. He was bored and was playing. What else took no effort and could be amusing for a short while?

Boma'burudi had stepped away from her usual place as of late, the large lioness, for she was larger than any she'd seen, had been hiding out for weeks in the same underwater cave, barnacles and different pieces of the sea clung to her. Her form itself was part rock, all over gemstones glittered from her pelt and her wings themselves were from the earth. She fluttered around in the warm sun trying to cheer herself up, Mtima had said she shouldn't dwell on him but that was all she could do!

The cacophony of blades clashing against blades echoed as she flapped absently, many thought the sound of her wings frightening, but she thought it was one of the most interesting sounds. The echoing gibberish of steel soothed her. Suddenly she stopped flapping, she was hearing the rocks uttering in disgust over something nearby, changing her direction she shivered, what could make the earth that unhappy?

She soon found the source of the earth's cries, a rock was crying in distress about what was going on around it. A lion? No another immortal was well, it looked like he was playing with mice, was that revolting? She chirped something to the rock to still it's voice and uncomfortably landed near the other immortal. She'd made sure to flutter her wings enough to cause the harsh tones her wings made.

"What are you doing..?" her two-toned eyes were fixed upon him.

The noise of someone arriving distracted him and the latest mouse he was playing with got away. He moaned a little and sighed before turning to face the goddess. He wasn't bothered about anyone arriving though. He quickly gulped down a few of his mice before actually looking at her.

He turned slowly after all he wasn't in any rush, he had no reason to be quick after all she was probably just as boring as everyone else he had met. He let his blue eyes look her over and he was suddenly very curious. She was covered in stones of such beautiful colours. They were so beautiful that he wouldn't have even been able to paint something like that.

"Wow... those colours." He did ignore her question for the time being as this was obviously far more interesting but he then shook his head and looked at her. Time to answer that question.

"I was eating and playing." He was at least honest. Though he didn't mention that he was changing the colour of the mice, he never told anyone his powers he just showed them instead and he was tempted to turn her bright pink but he would wait and see if she was nice or not, that would influence what colour she went.

The large lioness shifted uncomfortably under his eyes, he was playing, with his food? Her motherly instincts --which were slightly shot, told her that was just not proper manners, even when eating alone! His eyes made her shift, it wasn't fear, just the thought of being with another immortal, and the speed at which he moved made it worse, as if he was prideful and thought he was better than she was, in no hurry to meet someone that could be important.

"Well, it doesn't seem the earth cares for your eating habits," she spoke her voice had turned raspy and slightly gravelly like a blues singer's voice sometimes did, "It's rude not to introduce yourself to a lady," she added. He'd said thos colors, what did that mean? He was covered in many colors, was that apart of it? Did he like colors?

"I'm Boma'burudi, goddess of the Earth's Womb, I see you're immortal too, or half parot," se chuckled which was again another deep earthy sound. She shifted again and her feathers clanged together awkwardly.

"The Earth?" He gave her something of an odd look for a while just because the earth couldn't talk! He hadn't a clue what it was she was going on about so he chose to ignore it. Best way to deal with annoying things. However she then spoke as if he should care that she is female, since when did he ever have to use manners?

He waited for her to speak her own name and then she called him a half parrot! Which he couldn't help but laugh at. It was a nice compliment but he was almost certain that he was far more attractive then any parrot you would find near by. After all he could quite easily change colour and could use his powers to be somewhat flattering. Though he rarely used them for that.

"I am Kazi'Malaiki though you can call me Kazi. I am God of The Arts." He didn't say much more, the formal introduction had made him feel all weird. He didn't like all this formal stuff it was just odd!

"Yes, the earth, and as I said, I am Boma'burudi, you may call me Boma, and it's a pleasure to meet you Kazi," her two toned eyes sparkled with playful fury.

"Arts then, purhaps you adore different hues? I have seen colors no one has, in the depths of the earth all things are possible," she quiped playfully. She'd been imprisoned in the earth and reborn again from it. Her playful nature was rarely let out from her inner caves and it was an odd mood that Boma found herself in.

"I have seen mushrooms in the darkest of blacks, I have also seen creatures within the earth as red as colorful as your wings," she said softly.

She had his attention that was for sure. He wanted to see these colours, if he could see them then it could be possible that he could recreate them. That was something that he wanted more then anything, it would just make him even more better then everyone else!

"Can you show me some of these rocks? They sound fascinating." He watched her carefully as he would have to be nice now if he was going to get her to show him. It might take a while, after all he was far from good though he was selfish and only did anything for his own gain!

Boma'burudi nodded and then fixed her two toned eyes on the eart resting between the two of them. The air feeled dry and cracked ominously as she focused her powers at the dirt. Slowly a small ripple in the earth churned the brown dirt away and made way to cream colored sands and jewels of all shapes and colors started to ripple out with the mixtures of browns, creams, and tans.

Her concentration wained and the air regained it's normal state; her breathing became heavy and sporadic as she haggardly took in breath. "It seems it has been sometime since I've done this," she spoke her words broken up by gasping.

"those top ones, the green are emeralds, and as you look there should be mixtures of oranges and reds," she added looking at her work. The little gems hummed to her, although no one else could hear them. They seemed so happy and excited to be out in the fresh air,"They're happy to see you," she nodded again her breathing slowing and returning to normal.

Kazi watched in amazement and as he looked at every colour the ground changed that colour until he had managed to perfect that shade. He was having a great time and if he hadn't been so self obsessed he might have even said thank you to her but he was far too self righteous to do such a thing.

"Can you bring up even more?"

Manners was something he did lack. He cared so little for them as he was as far as he was concerned the most important thing living!

"I don't think so, it will make the others jealous, if you dig around there may be a few other colors close to the surface," she paused for a moment and looked as if she was listening, "some amethysts in there as well? Make room then," and she waved a paw and even more colors of purples came to the surface and near the edges metalic bits of minerals. She purred happily, the gemstones were so happy to be free and it made her exstatic to hear there voices after so long, she had been hiding away from certain voices. Gemstones liked to compliment and loved to be above ground.

"They love your colors, you remind them of the caves," she said matter o factly.

"Of caves?" Ha! He couldn't help but laugh. This Goddess has completely lost it. No he wasn't bothered anymore, the gems were pretty there was no doubt of that but they were also a pain just because they came with an insane Goddess.

"They are pretty but not as pretty as I." He smirked a little and turned to leave. She wasn't worth the time.
