The apple orchard is basically a huge field, with rows and of apple trees in it. Many kinds of apple trees are growing on the flat land, just a couple of meters away from each other, creating nice shade. Breezes come by often, and the apple orchard is a nice place to hang out on a hot summer day. The fruit hangs off the trees, sometimes falling off, since the apples are ripe.

Lena stared blankly at the scenery spread before her. An orchard..., she said irritably to herself. That stupid idiot Casey had kicked her out of the house and dragged her here under the name of fresh air. April had, of course, been all too willing to be an accomplice in the evil act. She was usually the victim, getting kicked out of the house quite often...usually several times a day. So it had probably made her day to be able to torture someone else. Lena sighed, annoyed, and turned her head with half a mind to go running back home straight away.

Funfetti slinked through the trees, like she was in a slalom course. Being outside was quite relaxing for Funfetti. There was so much to see and to do and explore in the nature. She had wandered upon this apple orchard by accident one day when she had been in an exploring mood and wandered into it. She liked the place a lot, and had come back quite often.
Today she was pretending to be an assassin, and had to stalk down her prey silently and stelthfully. She headed towards one end of the orchard, thinking to herself, maybe I'll see somebody to kill near the outside of the orchard. It's worth a shot. She padded along to the end of the orchard, and saw a brown figure glaring at it. Ooh! My first target! thought Funfetti as she jumped into one of the trees and hid in the foliage. She grabbed an apple and threw it at the brown figure. The first apple missed, so Funfetti just threw another one. This one hit the 9-tailed ulaya on the shoulder. Funfetti kept still to make sure her target wouldn't see her.

Lena, too busy contemplating leaving the godforsaken cluster of trees, was oblivious to an almost silent rustle of leaves followed by a certain small apple that just so happened to fall on her. The irritation that boiled up inside of her was almost immediately quelled by the overwhelming laziness she was feeling.
Her only visible reaction was the annoyed squinting of one eye as she raised her head as little as she possibly could in order to look above her. No tree. So where had the apple fallen from?
Lena was in one of her notorious bad moods again. Sometimes these would result in broken furniture, but more often, she wouuld just fume silently alone in her room, doing who knows what. Today was more of a broken-furniture mood.
She picked one up from the ground, which was covered in ripe apples, and prodded it with her tail. It was hard as a rock. Her tail curled up, as if she was about to take a bite of it, and suddenly threw it full-force in the direction she vaguely remembered a rustle of leaves coming from.

The apple flew into the tree, and hit Funfetti on the nose. She winced with the pain, since the apple had been thrown quite hard. She poked her head out of the tree and yelled to the brown ulaya, "nice toss," then stuck her tongue out. Funfetti threw another apple at the ulaya, then jumped out of the tree and ran deeper into the orchard thinking to herself that this mystery ulaya would make a good assassin.

A shocked expression crossed Lena's face when the head of a pale yellow ulaya popped out from the top of a tree, where she'd thrown the apple at. Although she hadn't expected someone to be sitting in the tree, it almost surprised her more that she'd actually hit something, as her aim was below average.
Again Lena's eyes widened slightly as the ulaya jumped out and ran in the opposite direction. For a moment, she sat, wondering what had just happened, when she realized some random ulaya that had thrown an apple at her was running away. Soon, she probably wouldn't be able to find it. "HEY!" she yelled after her dissapearing profile. Thinking fast, Lena took off as fast as her paws would carry her. She kept herself speeding forward with her eyes on the target, and scooped up a stray apple with her tail without slowing down. The other ulaya wasn't too far away now...so she flung the apple far ahead of her in hopes of getting it to slow down.

Funfetti looked behind her, to see what the brown ulaya was doing, and saw a round object coming closer to her. The apple missed her by a couple of feet. Funny thing, that one is Funfetti thought to herself as she kept running. I think one of the funniest things about that ulaya is all the tails sprouting from it's behind. This thought made Funfetti start to laugh outloud. She forgot about the ulaya chasing her, and starting skipping/hopping around a tree laughing maniacally.

Eyebrow raised, mouth gaping with disbelief, she unknowingly slowed down as well. What the heck is she doing...?, Lena thought, asking herself rather vaguely. She's gone mad. She wondered if she should be chasing a diseased ulaya, but was reminded of her previous determination, and ran up to it, still circling the tree. Staring at it, she waited until it came back around towards her, and once it was right in front of her, she gave it a push. "You're making me dizzy, weirdo," she said, still partially dumbfounded at its odd behavior.

Funfetti fell backwards and landed on her bottom. "Ouch. You hurt me," she whined to the Ulaya that pushed her. "And who are you calling weirdo? Me? Because the only weirdo I see is you with your 9 tails," she said somewhat snobbily.
