I guess they'll talk and choose whose name they wish. Or maybe have a hyphenated name. It works.

You could both just keep your own last names, it's not a written rule that one of you must take the others name.
When 2 of my friends got married they both took a new last name...they're parents were pissed but they were happy. They just both agreed on a last name they both really like and I thought that was pretty cool. They both took the last name Delaquois (I'm not sure that's spelled right *phonetics*> Dela qwah).

LibidinalCatharsis Well, my GF and I decided that when we get marrid we'll hyphenate both our last names together. Maeve Allen + Jasmine Terrell = Maeve Allen-Terrell + Jasmine Allen-Terrell She wanted the Allen to come first because she wants our children to be at the front of the alphabet on graduation day so she doesn't have to sit through all those names being called out. Um... you have to sit through the entire ceremony anyway... they won't let the kids go until then. bonnou When 2 of my friends got married they both took a new last name...they're parents were pissed but they were happy. Perhaps De la croix (actual spacing may vary)?

Claena rurica Ooo, it would be super cool to make up a new last name, something crazy. Like out of a Roald Dahl book or some other silly book biggrin And if I had a kid, it would be named Basil. Or Thyme. I would totally make up a new last name!!! That sounds like so much fun! Or I would just choose the name I liked best. I think hyphenated names are confusing and long.I concur. A friend of mine's mother didn't take her hubby's last name, and he kept his. The kids have the dad's last name, but the mom's last name is their middle name ^_^ Also a good solution.

I think I'd want to change my name to something German, seeing as I'm 7/8 German.
Hmm . . . Maybe Wolfrick . . . Or perhaps Kaufholt . . .

Having been poked fun at all my life for the absurdity that is my last name, yes, I will take their last name. Unless that is, it's somehow stranger than mine, like Schnuffelsausedge. rofl

I absolutely love my girl's last name. It's Marfia (sounds like Mafia which is cool cause she's the 3rd generation born here in America from her dad's side of the family. They're from Itally). Mine is just so... normal. Alexander... Bah.
(huggles her g/f's last name) 4laugh

Whoever dislikes their last name least. Both me and my GF have Italian last names so... o_o; yeah...whichever is easier to pronounce I guess.

Karnell Any name, if I were gay, would be better than mine. It's so bland . . . Young . . . Blah. Don't worry, mine's boring to. Hennig. But everone things Henning.
