It was okay, but I totally spent more money than I planned to, Because I gave this homeless guy twenty-two dollars, and got Subway, And paid my entrance fee, and I almost bought a t-shirt. xD
We were there for four of six band sets, so Jynx and I saw Lithica, Ost Est Ima, Nefastus Dies, and Wolven Ancestry play, in that order. Wolven Ancestry was the featured band, and that's who we came to see. We were kind of disappointed about the crowd, and the quality of prior bands that I swear, we almost didn't stay for them, but lo and behold, they ended up making the twelve bucks worth it, in the end. xD
Now, Lithica is just funny. They're kind of a crap band in my books, to be honest, and it's hilarious, because even though I've been to about four Lithica shows before last night's, I'd never seen them play. Last night was the first time, and let me assure you, the last. xD Every time I went to a show they were playing at, I was late enough that I missed their whole set. My sense of timing has good musical taste, lulz.
But it's kind of amusing, because both Lithica and Wolven ancestry have the whole corpse paint and swords on stage thing going on, but Wolven Ancestry rocked, and Lithica...well, blah. xDD
Ost Est Ima was a real pick-me-up after seeing a crap band like Lithica, and Nefastus Dies was complete s**t. They were egotistical bastards, and they were trying to start a circlepit when there was, like, seriously, less than a hundred people in the venue. -Snort- And that means that only, like, ten of them ever wanted to mosh at once. Not surprising. We decided to call the lead singer of Nefastus Dies 'Chicken Man,' because he did this weird thing every syllable of the lyric he screamed. He'd have both hands on the microphone at all times, and have his arms bent at the elbow, and he'd kind of...flap his arms every time he sang. It was just funny. So, yeah. But he kept calling us lazy ******** during "interlude" type things, and we got so annoyed that we left half way through the set to go get food.
So when we came back from Subway, ********', there was an ambulance right outside the place. We were like, "uh, mew rule. Subway and metal shows don't mix." And we had to wonder if we took too long eating out, and if we missed Wolven Ancestry completely. O; But we waited around, and it paid off.
After the show, we walked outside, and a bunch of idiots started screaming at me for no ********' reason. Jynx was like, "people are idiots." And I was like, "uh-greed." :/ The ******** knobs threw goldfish crackers at me. Ten minutes later, they'd actually gone all the way down the street to meet us again, just to throw some more goldfish at me. So, I got a faceful of baked, not fried cheese cracker fish. It actually stung when they hit my cheek, so I ended up saying, "ow." I couldn't really do anything, because for one, I'm a stick, and I'd get killed if I tried to take one of them on, and for two, there were, like, ten of them, and two of us, and I knew I wasn't going to get backed up in a fight for bitching at someone who threw crackers at me. But I still felt like a wimp. :/
And, well, that was pretty much the whole night. My neck hurts like hell from a shitload of headbanging, and it was nice to keep my mind off of the whole Nick thing for a few hours, even though I'm feeling pretty upset about that now. But I had fun. ; D
On the 23rd, I'm totally going to see Cannibal Corpse. Omfg.

I totally had fun. My neck's gonna hurt for a week! -Cheesy grin- ^^;
Yeah, I was like, "you know, we're not in kindergarden, buddy. If you want to share with me, then share. You don't have to throw them. D<"
Well, I didn't exactly take him to lunch, but the money I gave him made sure he had somewhere warm to sleep overnight, and I did go into Subway and get him a huuuuge Root Beer. Then we had a cigarette with him, and bid him farewell, because we thought we were late for the end of the show.
