Where I live there's a contest every year for new, up and coming local bands called "The Wedgewood Rooms Showcase". It's a big venue and loads of bands have played there, including such acts as Paramore, Strokes and Trivium (not the showcase, that's a comp just for the local bands =P ).
Annnnnyways. My band entered it and we won the first heat! 32 bands entered, and we're one of the 8 bands left! Can't ******** believe it. Was such a great night. Semi finals next week... *teeth chatter* and we're in the finale 5! *teeth chatter*

It's easy! I'm not even in the band this thread is about (technically, might be joining but don't know if I really want to yet)! I have three of my own though. Just go on the internet and ask. Or get your friends to learn bass/drums.

I know right? =P WINDMILL!!! Lol. Funny thing is, we're like the least metal band in the world. We have a female lead singer and keys... I was just playing and suddenly thought, "This song needs more windmill..."

Oh my God I played like 3 hours ago yet I'm still hyped up on adrenaline! Can't WAIT till the finales.

Probably but the quality would be a little bit poo... Photos are just as good though. =P Tonight my sister came, and I had a look at a few she took, and there's one she's got where I just jumped off the bass drum and half way in the air. ROCK AND ROLL!!! twisted
