hearts go down if you overwork them so if that happens confess to carter that you're a harvest sprite slave driver and continue to either give them weeds or flour
I had no idea it was possible to overwork the harvest sprites. No wonder I have to constantly give them bags of flour to brighten their feeling towards me! (my entire tillable land is used for crops, and I always ask them to water and harvest)
blaugh blazen1121- I usually give every HS a single bag of flour everyday until they have about three heart for me. Then I ask a few to work for a week. A day before their working time is over, I make a trip to their house with bags of flour for the remaining sprites and ask them to work for a week. I continue to do this all through the planting seasons.
My advice would be to do whatever works for your play style.
