Nope. He's had several companions from the past and from the future, and some non-human companions too.
Y'know who I really would've liked to see as a companion? Sally Sparrow or Professor Yana. Or both. They were so cool.
I liked Sally Sparrow, but she's too much in the same mould as Rose and Martha for me. Another strong, smart, pretty female is boring. @_@
