Hello! I am still a big fan of Gundam Wing, because in a way it changed my life. There are a lot of people who have given up on it or don't care for it anymore because it's old. Also there are a lot of GW websites out there that don't update, possibly for the same reasons.
But I don't to see GW crash and burn. I am suggesting a Gundam Wing website contest.
The website must be yours. You can submit an old one that you created, but it must have been update within the last three months. If you wish to create a brand new Gundam Wing website, I have some free host sites I can suggest and also sites where you can find images as well as information to start you off on a GW website.
The website doesn't have to be complex, and whether it's a yaoi/yuri site, a hate site (I'd prefer if neither of those two were your choices, but it's still up to you), a romantic site, a gallery site, a fanworks site, or a general information site, or whatever you want it to be, it's up to you.
I will be judging fairly on sincerity of the website. If it looks like you might keep at it, you're at a good start. I will also be judging on design, content, navigation, graphics, and fandom. The second main thing (second to sincerity) is how well you represent whatever your website was about.
The website does not have to be a 100% Gundam Wing fansite, it can contain other things.
Pornography, spyware, viruses, etc WILL NOT BE TOLERATED and will be reported. If you use a 50megs site, pop ups are expected, but won't be considered viruses, because they're not...so don't worry abou that. (I know this because 50megs was the best hosting site I've ever used, and I've tried a couple others. The only real down side is that it has pop up ads, because it's an ad supported site, but it's safe at least the website itself is, but then again I myself have a bit of a pop up paranoia).
I have some GW websites, but I won't be submitting my own ^^. If you want to sign up as a judge to help me judge the sites you can.
The prizes will be an amount of gold as well as a graphic award designed by me for you to post on your website. I might come up with other prizes, and you can suggest how much gold you would like me to offer as a prize, but please nothing higher than 10 k for first prize ><;.
I WILL aid you in creating your website if you need/would like help. That shouldn't effect how I judge you.
