[[*dusts herself off*]]

Alwyn had been stunned during this entire time and truth be told she had no clue why she had been up in the air for some time wishing that she could find some way to help she had no weopon in which she could use all she could do is watch from above and perhaps if danger persisted she could lift one from the danger....

((tomorrow by 12:00 PM PST is the last time you'll be able to post, otherwise, we're moving on))

Sid watched as the life faded from James once again. Now she'd seen him die twice. She wasn't starting to like it any more. With one last tear, she put James down and stood, facing the beast. "Let's kill this monster," she said solemly. She quickly dropped to the ground and sketched a lance in the sand. She placed her hand over it and it lifted from the ground, solidifying under her touch. She grasped the metal cylinder and stood once more. Pointing the lance at the beast she lunged at it, letting out a bloodcurdling scream.

Few people noticed what actually happened next. Slowly but surely, James' body began to sink and fade into the dirt beneath him. By the time anyone looked back at him he was gone, turned into a dust and drifting towards Nemoralis.
When Namawe was first transfered into James, the ring around Nemoralis' finger cracked right in the center. But as James' body disappeared, the ring began to heal itself. The crack in the center shriveled and died and the color slowly shifted to a deep blue. And only the keenest eye would be able to see the flash of James' face in the stone, before it was gone.

((Cleansing has occured! All characters that did not post between Tuesday, November 27 and Tuesday, November 4 were tragically killed. Sorry, guys.))

Sid slashed at the beast, driving it backwards. With each cut, the Sid's rage grew stronger. She screamed and hit at it, making it back away in fear. With one final blow, the beast fell backwards onto the ground. Sid stood, almost breathless, looking at the beast. The monster was finally dead. She began to turn back to where James was lying, but movement came to her from the corner of her eye. She watched in horror as the beast she had though was dead lifted itself and stood once more. It roared and stood back on its hind legs, beating its fists on its chest. In amazement, Sid could only watch as the beast once again went to all fours and charged at her. Just as its massive fist hit her square in the stomach she realized: I made it stronger. It can only see our powers, and I used mine to make this staff. Sid was thrown to the ground as the beast continued on. It roared as it ran for another person: Amaya. She pulled her bow back and let her arrow fly. It hit right in the center of the beast's forehead, making it scream in agony. But the monstrosity didn't stop. It lumbered towards her and tossed her aside like a twig. She flew through the air and hit the ground with a sickening crack. Next the monster turned to Alester. It ran at her and grabbed her with one hand. It raised her to its mouth and tore a hunk of flesh from her side, along with her right arm. Knowing she was dead, the beast dropped her carcass and turned back to the rest. Everyone else looked dead. Who else was there? Someone flying in the sky: they were out of reach. The girl he'd already tossed to the ground, a boy standing near her, and another girl, all rather shadowy in the beast's sight. One person remained that the monster cared for: another boy. A yellow gold light gleamed around him in the shape of a sphere, acting as a beacon, beckoning the monster towards him. The beast began to lumber forward, aiming his head right at the boy.
Daniel began to sweat as he lowered his shield. He'd need to time this just right.

((sorry to puppet a little, but since the people i puppeted most are out, i think it's only fair))

(*Just found the new posts*)

Isaac stared on as the beast started to rip apart their friends savagely. He started to cry where he stood before clenching his fists. He straightened up and clapped his hands, the pulse of flames flying from them. He didn't know if Daniel had a plan, and he didn't care any more. This beast was going to die, one way or another. He was still thinking of his own plans though, he had one that would confuse the Hell out of it. "If I get some paper from Sid, then I could light beacons around it and attack while it takes the decoys.."

Daniel was breathing heavily now. The beast continued to eye him, and their eyes met. He heard Alwyn say something, and he almost laughed. "However we kill it, it doesn't matter. As long as it dies, I'll be happy." He took a deap breath in and waited for the beast to attack.

Isaac ran to Sid, tearing a piece of paper from her sketch book. "Sorry, need it!" He ripped it into smaller pieces and scattered them around, lighting them on fire as he went. After that he ran back to the front of the beast and smiled as it spun with confusion. "Now!" Isaac yelled as he started throwing more fireballs at it after snapping his fingers.

Daniel raced at the beast as it whirled towards the flaming scraps of paper. At the perfect moment, he leapt from the ground, his hand in front of him.
"Hey, monkey-butt! Try this on for size!" His hand came in solid contact with the beast's forehead and there was an audible crack.
Daniel had never made a force field in or around something he couldn't see before. Whatever he was trying would always be in clear sight. But just this once, he decided to experiment. The field would be small enough that it wouldn't be difficult. And it would only take a moment.
His palm came into contact with the beast's forehead and he activated his power at just that moment. He concentrated, pushing the field into the beast's skull. An epiphany of power spurred in Daniel's head and the field expanded. In less than a second, it dissipated, but it was enough. The field had expanded to a point where it pushed on the top of the beast's skull, cracking it outward. The flesh held, but the skull and brain inside were done for. The beast let out one last scream of agony before it fell to the ground, blood seeping out of its mouth and nostrils.
Daniel hopped backwards to dodge the falling behemoth and waved his hand in front of his face to fan away the ensuing dustcloud. Taking one last look at the beast, he shook his head and turned on his heels back towards Sid. This thing definitely wasn't getting up again.

((okay, i know i said i wouldn't kill it, but the RP is going nowhere fast. i figured we'd need ANOTHER plot point to spur us forward. onward, eh?)

('Tis okay.)

Isaac slowly made his way back over to some of their fallen comrades. His usual cheer, gone. He fell to his knees and a tear fell from his race. His nose was runny and his body was shaking terribly. He'd never seen friends torn apart before. Blood was everywhere, and he was covered in fur and blood. He lifted a hand to his eyes and rubbed them for a moment.
