 Asami was slowly strolling around with a small smile on her face. It wasn't normal for Asami to be walking around at night by herself. Usually, she would be sleeping under a tree, or somewhere she could blend in with her surroundings. Tonight was an unusual night though, the icy wind was keeping her from being able to sleep at night and her stomach was very upset with her. It wanted food, and it wanted food now.
Hm, maybe there would be some food lurking in the forest? Most bad things happened in the forest at night though, but Asami's mind was on her angry stomach that was now growling at her. A rabbit would probably be sleeping in it's hole right now and birds would probably wake up if she tried to climb the trees to where they were. Berries it was then. Not the best tasting things, but it was the only thing there was this late at night. A little bit of movement caught Asami's eye as she crouched down a little. Food?

Lila lay in the forest awake. It was well past 8 PM, but she was still awake.
She was tired, but could not sleep. She was exhausted. Lila felt horrible, she felt like she had no reason to live anymore.
Earlier that night, things had happened, that she would have never even thought could happen to her. Flashbacks kept coming into her mind. She tried to keep them away, but she couldn't.
She was walking around, searching for a place to sleep when a flaming red male approached her. He didn't look nice, but Lila didn't like to stereotype. Acting friendly, she greeted him. He smiled, an evil glint in his eye. He threw her to the ground, she was screaming for mercy, begging, pleading, and struggling to get out of his grasp. There and then, he had raped her. The whole time, she was struggling to break away, but he was too strong. By the time he walked away, she was crying. When he did walk away, she turned to him, and said, "What if..." Her breath was small and shaky. "What if... I'm...." She couldn't bear to say it. "Pregnant." All he did was smirk, as if he wasn't able to father any children. Still, she was very scared. She wasn't ready for parenthood.
Right then, her flashbacks were interrupted by a twig breaking. She immediately jumped up, afraid it was him again, and hid behind a tree trunk.
She knew it wouldn't be any good, but anything to save her from getting raped again was good enough.

The sound of something quickly running away, made Asami jump and begin to walk over to where the sound had come from. Maybe a rabbit? No, a rabbit wouldn't be up this late. The only thing up would be maybe an owl, or a night walking creature such as a ulaya. Was there another ulaya around? Being as curious as Asami was, she peaked her head around all sorts of places to see what had made the noise and suddenly quieted down. When she peaked her head around the trunk that the other ulaya was hiding behind, a small smile crossed her face. Usually, Asami did not greet other ulaya in such a kind way, but this purple ulaya seemed a little troubled at something. "Hello!" Asami said in her most friendly, perky voice.

"Ah!" Lila screamed as a beautiful tan and white Ulaya popped around the corner of the trunk. She looked really friendly, but she did startle Lila. Her breath now heavy, from all the excitement, Lila managed to get out, "Hi."
By now, her shaking had slowed down a bit, she saw that the female meant well. "I'm Lila," she said, wondering what the other's name was.

Hm... It seemed this one was afraid of something before Asami showed up. A snake maybe? Either this other ulaya was shaking, or Asami's eyes were messing up horribly. "I didn't mean to scare you." She said getnly to the purple and black female in front of her. What had happened to this... Lila to make her so jumpy? "Nice to meet you Lila." Asami said simply. Since the other hadn't asked for her name, Asami didn't really bother in telling it to her. She probably didn't want to know it anyways.

She looked at the female with big, sad eyes. "I know. It's just... well... nevermind." She shook her head, kind of embaressed of being so jumpy. "It's nice to meet you to... Umm..." She stumbled upon her sentence, not knowing what to say. She didn't know the girl's name.
She had a small smile upon her face now. She was feeling a bit better about herself. Lila felt really comfortable with the girl.

Asami tilted her head a bit. "Um... okay?" She didn't quite know what to say about this other one, except that she was... different. "Nice to meet you two." Asami said as she lifted her paw and began to lick it. Oh well, she might as well tell this other her name, it was only fair. "The name's Asami." The ulaya said simply as she watched the other ulaya closely. "Are you okay?" She asked, while watching the other ulaya's scared face slowly show the smallest bit of a smile.

"Asami..." She whispered. "That's pretty!"
She looked at the female. A pretty name, for a very pretty girl.
"Something wrong?" Her head slowly lowered, "Yes, something is terribly wrong. Something unheard of happened in this forest today." Her voice was back to being shaky now. A tear slid down her face, as she looked up at the Ulaya. Her eyes were full of fear. "A flaming, red male lurks these forests. And I suggest you stay away from him." Her face was grave, and full of seriousness.

"Yes, my parents did have a way with names. I like your name very much as well." She said a little softer then she was talking before. Ah, so something was truly wrong with this other female ulaya that was cowering behind a tree trunk. Tears? Were those tears filling her eyes? Something very bad must have happened if she was crying. Flaming red male? Could it have been...? No... or... "Pure white eyes? Two horns coming out of his head? Two black hooves in the front instead of normal paws like we have?" If the other ulaya said yes to all of these things, then Asami would know exactly who she was talking about, but he didn't seem like that kind of ulaya when they had met... of course she was young and ignorant then.

"Thank you." She was happy to hear that. She hadn't thought very much of her name till then.
She gasped as Asami had started to describe her rapist to a T. "Yes, that's him exactly." She was gaping at the female, "You... You know him?"
Now she was getting worried, would the only Ulaya she could trust be evil, like the other that she was describing?

Asami gently nodded her head. "You are welcome." The ulaya said looking at the other ulaya's markings. They were very interesting and seemed to catch Asami's eyes. When the other gasped at her describing Fire Ball, she jumped a little. "I met him once when I was a small kit. He seemed harmless, did he hurt you?" Of course, he said he gave mersey to her when she was little, but she didn't believe him then. Maybe he was truly cruel? "What did he do to you?" She asked, letting her paws that she was once licking fall to the ground and land gracefully next to her other one.

"As a kit, he might've seemed harmless. But don't judge a book by it's cover." Her eyes lowered, looking at her own paws. "He did hurt me, in a way that no one else could." Now looking into Asami's eyes, she spoke again, "He raped me, Asami. He stripped me of my dignity, and that was all I had." Lila shut her eyes tight, tears were now streaming down her face.

Asami's face slowly turned from goofy child to serious adult. He had hurt her? The brown and white ulaya was very lucky that she had left the fire ball when she had when she was younger, and she was lucky he hadn't hurt her. He did what?! How could one do this to another? Asami's claws quickly dug into the earth below her, in anger. Of course, the brown and white ulaya could do nothing at all, except maybe have the same fate as the one infront of her, or possibly even worse if she got on the red ulaya's bad side. He would never feel bad for Lila, he would probably never see her again, and if he did she would just be another face. Asami had no clue what to say to the purple ulaya that was now fully crying infront of her.
