Alright, so this is probably going to sound really weird. I don't even know if I'd even consider it a gift or power.

Lately I've been noticing that a word will come to me that isn't one I know of from the English language. In fact usually it's a word I've never heard before. Nothing big right? Except when I look up these words I discover they have actual meanings, usually in another language.

For example.

Mierna - (Gallic) Soft

Sanka - (French) Without Caffeine (wtf?)

Sanctus - (Latin) Holy

Diabolicus - Diabolical

There's more, but that's just an example. So can anyone give me insight as to wtf is going on?

Sounds like your subconscious spitting up things for you... perhaps you should listen.

Are you recording all of these?

Well, I don't know about the first two, but Sanctus, while it is not an English word, is all over the English language. Sanctification, the "Sanctus" that's sung in church (Holy, Holy, Holy Lord, God of power and might,
heaven and earth are full of your glory.
Hosanna in the highest.
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
Hosanna in the highest.)... That's probably bubbling up from your subconscious, as is diabolicus. It's also all over the English language.

I don't know that I would classify this as tongues. In the Book of Acts, the gift of tongues the church experience was the ability to preach the gospel in languages the people around them understood.. It was an enabling gift that was a tool. It also had a specific purpose. The other kind of tongues (private prayer language) is not something I seek after myself. Either case, I don't think it fits your scenario.

The strange part is that these are words I haven't heard before that just come to me. I might have to go with Exultati's explanation.

But, no I'm not recording them.

I just looked up the deffinition of what I've found myself somewhat chanting randomly.

I got

(1) to be beaten; to break down; (2) to be crazy; to be touched

All I could find it in was japanese. Could have ment something else in another language.

Alright, so yesterday I had this really heavy feeling inside of me. I was trying to draw, but nothing came out. Then I just started writing (without looking at the paper.) and when I looked down, there were words.

The oddest part is after that the heaviness I felt was taken away.

Ah, automatic writing... I've never done it myself, but I know what it is. biggrin

Sounds like you're in a 'wordy' period of your life.
