"I can imagine, eh?" You know, hiding from robots and flying knives. Brows raised as the kitsu watched Dice bounce towards a hill top, wondering if there was anything to see. By her expression though, it didn't seem like it. Ronan pulled the rest of his body from the grass and sat himself at it's edge. "Oh? I hadn't known you two had met." Setsumi was probabliy too distracted to remember telling him so.

Paradise shrugged and trotted back down the hill toward him. "Eh... it was really short, after you told me you were leaving, but apparently before you actually left. I mean, I figured she had to be the one that was your friend, with the feathers and the blue hair you mentioned, so I talked to her for all of maybe five minutes. She was definitely acting like she had something on her mind..." Another shrug. "Is there anything else to see around here?"

Hmm, that had been a short time.But an encounter is an encounter, and at least Paradise could place a face with the name. Ronan blinked, one ear vertical while the other lay horizontal. A deep rumble came, before it emerged as a chuckle. "What, bored already?" He shook his head with a grin. "If you plan to be a traveler, ya can't really get so bored so easily." And with a flip of his paw, Ronan pointed to the left. "There's a beach not too far away from here."

Paradise raised an eyebrow. "Bored? Not really. More wondering what else is around here, since I was under the impression you've been around her a while. and for the moment I'm traveling with someone." XP "Besides... is this beach a good spot for a swim? I feel like a good swim."

Ronan smirked, surprised to actually enjoy this random company. "Course I've been around here for awhile. This area is pretty much mapped in my mind." An area they had passed many times before. He stood with a stretch, tails flicking at the ends, before walking toward the land edged with water. "Perfect for swimming. No carnivores and pretty much deserted."

"Sounds like a great place to stop." Grin. She flicked an ear and lifted her nose to the air. She couldn't hear waves on a beach, but she could smell the salty tang in the air that she had to assume was the ocean coming in from the direction he indicated. "So... race you there." XP

The male shrugged, before giving a short trot. "Sure, why not?" Even if he was on the lazy side right now. So, Ronan allowed a run, not too much speed being put out as he can achieve. But, it was still speedy enough. Soon the horixon crested, before dipping down to reveal an open and clear blue. Small waves tickled at the sandy beach; untouched.

Paradise got there first, by a little bit, anyway, but rather than be proud she gave Ronan a long look and flicked her tails. He was holding back... but yeah, whatever. It really was too relaxed a day to take a race seriously.
She paused on the edge of where the grass met the sand, looking up and down the beach. "Now... that's a beach." She padded forward to stand where a wave washed up the shore and around her paws. The water was a nice temperature too. She padded out farther and splashed the water at Ronan a bit, though she really wasn't trying, and then let herself float out a short distance in the calmer shallows, making sure not to let herself get out any too far. Undertow was baaaad.

The look was only responded with a grin. He liked to save some reserves in case of emergencies. He slowed as Paradise skipped on by, his paws slushing about in the soft sand. Ronan clenched his maw and turned away at the splash, shielding himself with a laugh. Wow, the water was nice today. He stood just at the water's edge, going no deeper than his elbows. For now, the sight of the endless blue, and flickering rainbow pelt, kept his mind busy and pleasant.

If there was one thing beside wandering and being a loner that Paradise could claim to do well, it was swim. It was one of her favorite activities, and she'd gotten rather good at diving and swimming around underwater so she could watch the fish swim. She wasn't sure if it would be wise to do that here, considering the salt in the water; fortunately the water was clear enough in the area she was swimming in that she could see the seashells and some of the tiny creatures down below. Unlike a populated beach they were if not numerous then at least not uncommon here.
Down the beach some seabird or other was pecking at a crab, presumably to try and pick it up so it could fly up in the air and drop to dash it on some rocks below. This was just stuff you didn't get to see often back at the Realm and Mountain; the wildlife was simply too wary in the populous kitsu lands.
She just floated there for a while enjoying the sights, kicking her way closer to shore when she started drifting too much for comfort. A small relaxed smile sat lazily on her maw as she decided this was definitely a place to come visit again in the future.

To swim, that was something Ronan rarely bothered to do. Perhaps it was all the times spent with Setsumi. She'd keep her feathers dry even in the craziest of rainstorms. The male peeked down at his own reflection, distorted by waves and glittering sunlight. A good and long overdue dip in the water though, that sounded pleasant. His ears flicked at the seabirds, their caws sounding like distant encouragement.
Finally moving forward and off the ground, Ronan dog paddled further into the water. His foofy tails acted like paddles, passing each gentle wave till he was the same distance as Paradise. Becoming even lazier, he stopped paddling, letting his back legs sink lower and the water raise up to his nose. It was relaxing, to float weightlessly, his swishing tails keeping balance. Ears heard nothing as they submerged with each wave, just enjoying the peace.

Eventually Paradise pulled herself back up on the beach and shook out her fur, all the little drops of water flashing for an instant in the sun before disappearing. Oddly enough the wet seemed to bring out even more deftly hidden bright tones in her fur. T'was all for naught, however, as after a moment of looking around she picked a spot just above the high tide line and flopped over, rolling to her back to take a nap in that paws-in-the-air position she seemed fond of. "Mmm... I think I'm gonna just nap here for a while. You can hang around or not, whatever... I'll catch ya later sometime, I'm sure."
