Kohana couldn't help but let out a small laugh as she watched Theodore sprint down to the water's edge. How can he have so much energy already without any food in his stomach? Kohana joked to herself lightly, giving her own stomach a rub with her left paw. Needless to say, that little bathing session set off her morning routine of eating.
"What do you feel like this morning?" Kohana asked as she trotted over to the nearest tree and selected a bright red apple. No berries this time!

Theodore loved the way the warm sand felt between his claw like toes. He had a bounce in his step as he walked along. "Anything that can be found really." He said honestly as he bound of to her.
A squirrel caught his eye and from then on his didn't let it out of his site.

Kohana couldn't help but laugh when she saw the looks Theodore was giving the squirrel. But it made the little thief stop dead in his tracks and too frightened to come near any of the fruit trees. "See what I mean?" Kohana said, sitting herself down against a tree trunk in a shady patch of sand.
After positioning herself carefully so her wings wouldn't be smushed uncomfortable against the rough bark. Then she took a huge bite out of the apple.

Theodore flashed the squirrel a devilish grin and winked. He tunred away from it so he could get a ripe bright red apple him self. He held it between his two front paws and ate fast, even most of the core. "These are good!" He said cheekfully to Kohana. "Thanks for bring me along!"

Caught up in the moment, Kohana herself gave the squirrel a look with a little attitude. But then she laughed at how forced it was. 'Attitude' really wasn't her thing. "Oh, I don't mind really. Company's nice." Kohana said sincerly. To her, there was nothing better than relaxing in the warm sun with a friend. With two more bits, she finished up her apple and began to reach for another one.
If there's one thing Kohana can do, it's eat!

Theodore polished off three more apple him self. When he was done he batted the cores away from them and layed down on his back. He looked up to the fluffly clouds and smiled. Today Theodore could see all types of things in them. Lazily he asked Kohana, "so what are your plains for the rest of the day?" He lazily scratch his chest with a paw.

After nearly biting into the core of her last apple, Kohana tossed it aside and lay down in the sand. "Hmm, probably nothing interesting." She replied, insistently bored by this thought. After playing in the ocean, laying on the beach, and playing games time after time, everything seemed pretty boring. "Maybe I'll go into the forest." Despite being a tad chilly, the lush forests were the only places that offered any excitment. There were interesting animals and plants at every turn.

"Going in deep are we?" He knew the forest pretty well and though it be nice to have company about for once. After all she was beautiful and nice. "Say would you mind a tag along?"

"In deep?" Kohana repeated, laughing. Theodore was full of strange sayings. "I guess you could say that." She continued, storing his last remark in her brain for later use.
"You're welcome to come along if you'd like." Kohana said, smiling. After all, a little company was never bad. And if she ever couldn't get through a bush or something, she could probably help her.
Standing up, Kohana gave her wings a stretch and let out a big yawn. Then, with a flick of her head she motioned towards a small dirt path and headed over to it.

Theodore grinned wide. "We're using a path?" He chuckled a bit. "Whats the fun in that? C'mon lets take a walk on the wild side." He paddled over to her. A mischievous look in he's eyes.

"Haha, walk on the wild side?" Kohana laughed, considering it. "Why not?"
Siding aside, she laughed, "You first." Kohana didn't want to get too many twigs in her fur. This way, that would happen.

"Age before beauty then eh?" Theo chuckled and lead the way off the path and into the jungle with wings tightly tucked into his sides. Just a little ways into the thick jungle the salty air seemed to dissipate and Theo breathed in deep. "Ah thats better. I always thought that the air in here smelt better." He said more to him self then to Kohana but he still wanted to know what she thought.

Kohana tried to follow closely enough to Theodore so she wouldn't get bombard in the face with branches and leaves. But she stayed far enough away so she wouldn't be falling all over his heels. That would drive anyone crazy!
At Theodore's question, or his statement really, Kohana chimed, "I don't know. I live so close to the ocean that I really don't notice the salt."

"Really! Are you kidding me? The jungle is where it's at! Hmm" He hummed as he looked around. "Ah! Hurry come over here." He said as he took off to a old large tree. Vines grew all over it but the vines them self's is what he was looking at. On them grew the most breath takingly colourful flowers he had every seen on the island. "What do you think?"
