Not really a scary movie, but Battle Royale is awesome if you're a fan of outrageous blood and gore

I love Ringu, Ju-On, and their American remakes. I've also seen and love a ton of other Asian horror filsm like Uzumaki, A Tale of Two Sisters, Phone, Infection, and more.
Samara, Sadako, and Kayako FTW!

antisense Not really a scary movie, but Battle Royale is awesome if you're a fan of outrageous blood and gore I watched Battle Royale. It was good but the manga is way much better than the movie. It has more story. I love The Ring and The Grudge. The Eye (another Asian horror movie)is also good. Scarry!!!!!!!!! The Phone and One Missed Call is good too biggrin

i think japan makes the best scary movies...all the others scary movies can never make it as scary the japan does it...*keep up the good work japan* 4laugh

The scariest Japanese film I've ever seen is "One Missed Call", it's about people dying after hearing voice messages of their death from their own cellphones. It's really gruesome. I love it. This one girl thinks she's gonna get away from the ghost, but then she starts contorting painfully and her head randomly is decapitated. Fun fun.

Yeah I love all of the Japanese versions of the movies then the cheap American versions. I just saw Infection last night and it was so good that I watched it twice. Does that make me a nerd?
