Mmkay, forget the discharge, I think I lost my pluggie!!

I was having some contractions(I wrote down the time as I usually do when they are even a little painful)and then went to the bathroom. I noticed a little goopy thing on my underwear. It was kinda clear but so small, I honestly thought it would be bigger.

Oh my gosh, I'm so excited, I can barely contain myself! biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin

Not obvious at all, eh?

Anyway, I will continue timing my little contractions and depending on how much they intensify(if at all)I may call my doctor.

I hope I have my baby by next week!!

I've thought about it. But my doctor is always so busy it drives me nuts. And the only other doctor is a complete b***h =(

I thought at first it was an infection but there's no odor so I'm just all confused. I'll probably call if it doesn't clear up or something changes.

From what I read on other websites you could be close to having your baby... I would still call the doctor and tell them to get over themselves.

From what I read on other websites you could be close to having your baby... I would still call the doctor and tell them to get over themselves.

lol It's just this one doctor that I cannot stand. I was slightly worried about the brownish discharge after my exam because I had some strong contractions with it. I checked in the What To Expect book and it said to call. I waited a few hours, hoping they would go away and when they didn't, I called. And she acted like I was wasting her time by calling. I simply cannot stand her, she acts like she's so great.

I like my two doctors, they're nice ^_^

Anyway, it cleared up a few hours ago so I'm not too worried. I'm just excited and anxious to get to my next appointment =D

Did you mean clear as in the color of it?
Because it should look like a blob of bloody mucous.

Generally they are somewhat large too, however, sometimes portions of it come off, instead of as a chunk, so it may be possible that you're starting to have it come out.

Also, a lot of times, women don't even notice it come out because it'll happen while you're on the toilet anyway.

If it is your mucous plug, you don't need to call your doctor. All that means is your body is preparing for birth (duh).

I can't remember anymore what color it was exactly but it was fairly clearish.

I read up on it after it happened so I'm waiting for anymore to come out. So far, none lol

I read that the mucous plug is usually streaked with blood or a pinkish color, and that it could be lost up to three weeks before you actually have your baby. It's not really anything to rush to your doctor to unless you've had any complications with your pregnancy. I'd say just sit back and see what happens, especially if your doctors a b***h. Mine is too and I only go to her if its absolutly nessecary.
