Ok I lied. It's chapter one of a book I'm writing, and I know how important a strong catchy beginning is so I thought I'd post it. Please post your opinion, I want lots of feedback!

@Torch: I like the story. do you have more? what kind of story is it? Romance? Drama? Comedy? Who were Kyle and Cody and what was there relationship with Sam?

I really do like that. It's a different style from what I normally read, but really very good. Keep writing, and I hope one day to find out where the story ends.

I Might read it. most books have a short reveiw on what its about on the back. I'd have to readc that. what is it about mainly anyway?

Kyle is her brother and Cody is his friend, I'm glad someone pointed out to me that I didn't clarify who they were. I've got a bit of the next chapter written, I'll post it when I'm finsihed.
Mostly this story is going to be...I'm not sure how to classify it. Sam helps to restore and old theatre in town, becomes artistically involved, and learns about herself. (She has trouble getting close to people.) However, I want to make this as funny as possible ( I don't want an overly-dramatic teen book, I hate those.)
