Hey guys I have been away from FF XI for close to seven months now and was wondering what the hell has happened in the time I was gone. Anything from May on, and only Keywords I wouldn't want to burden you. I can search sites but I have to know the name of what I am looking for.

I'd heard about the "taxes" too...I'd really like it if the makers just bought up tons of gil seller gold and just burned it...poof gone.
In one month on Kujata server (and I'm told on a couple others, though Kujata is supposedly the most inflated) inflation has gone wild -- things that cost 20k last month now cost 50k.

Not so much an update as a warning...if you're on one of the three known inflated like heck servers, that's what you're looking at.

Wow this is really scary. Then again the economy is the exact definition of a free market. I still would like a little government control though so prices won't be too high and getting gil might get a little more difficult at the higher levels so that the low levels still get what they really need. I can remeber when I was on Ragnarok my friend was running back and forth from Sandoria to Jueno buy and selling scrolls at tenth level. he was making enough to buy the Airship pass in two days. He was rank one lvl ten whm and had more money than many 40th lvl players. eek

The Auction House added zeros to the end of everything.
