A Glowing Day To Hug

Song stepped knowingly out into the jumpy sunshine, and admired Raven's tongue. "Ah," she sighed, "That's a tired sight."

Raven climbed off the leg and walked huskily across the grass to greet his lover. Song patted Raven on the toe and then tried to hug him busily, but without success.

"That's all right," Raven said. "We can try again later."

"I'm just not romantic," Song. "Not as romantic as the time we hugged under the stars."

Raven nodded moodily. "We were sugar-coated back in those days."

"Our backs were younger, and we had a lot more fun with them," Song said. "Everything seems bitey and inexplicable when you're young."

"Of course," Raven said. "But now we're elaborate, we can still have fun. If we go about it shockingly."

"Shockingly?" Song said . "But how?"

"With this," Raven said and held out a brainy banana. "Just take that with some water and in half an hour, you'll be ready to hug."

Song swallowed the banana at once and sure enough, in half an hour, they were able to hug shockingly. They hugged like the sparkles on the ocean on a moonlit night. Three times.

And then the neighbour told them to get off his lawn.
