Now most of you play during that day but the night game is a different beasty.
So lets get things started with the thing that is the makes night games so different and is often over looked in the game strategy.
Day Games have one source of light that is VERY far away and very birght called the sun. This means that their is alot of contrast between light and dark spots. This means thats you can see into the shade during the say and see what is
Now with night games there are 2 sources of light. Artificial lighting and natural light
Artificial lighting tends to be in the form of bright lights on poles
The higher the lights are the better for both teams as they provide more light over a wider area they also cause less glare. This is why at stadiums the lights are up so high
BUT some feilds only have Construction lights that are VERY bright and only about 10 to 30 feet above the ground. This means that a bright light is not that high off the ground. This causes two things alot of contrast and Glare.
