Ok I have heard about that gate glitch. I have also heard that AR dose it.
The scary part is I use the AR(yes I = cheater) but thats not what I care about. I have restarted my town a little wile back cause I didnt like my character face. Any way I never had a problem befor. But 2 day I want 2 trade something with a friend and well, I went 2 her town. I droped my money and she droped her item. Well this is where I got scared I went 2 get the item. And well I tryed 2 pick it up and I didnt. I tryed again and a fauled again. Thin I went 2 some blue screen that sayed trying 2 reconnect plz w8 bla bla time. Well I was sent back 2 my last save. I was worryed so I ran 2 my gate and mine was fine, and thin I tryed 2 see if she was ok as well and well I sent massages and she did not reply. Thin 2 make matters worse she loged off gaia now I'm scared that I mite have hurt her. Well you I really just need you all 2 tell me what you think, and if you know anything about that glitch and if I did it some how.
(My AR was not in whin I want 2 her town if that helps you all any)

That my be true but if I did hurt that person I dont ever want 2 do it again. -.- but it seems no one really knows much about it.

All that means is the connection became weak, and it did not recover in time. Unless you activated a code to do someting to her town, she should be fine.

Omg thank you so much I was worryed about that all night. I never use ar whin I'm on WiFi cause nentindo can find me and band me for it. At lest thats what some one told me but any way. You will know if you hurt someones town, because you will see it. If you don't see anything happening, then guess what. Nothings happening.
